with Langerado dead I need a new spring ritual & I'm considering Coachella. Who's been? I've looked at the website and I see from the schedule that the sets are short. I also hear it's expensive, can anybody fill me in on details???
Confirmed: Zoé
Rumored Acts: Craze & Klever Pavement Pretty Lights The Raveonettes

just an update, via Consequence of Sound...
Confirmed: Aeroplane Devo El Gran Silencio Miike Snow Zoé
Rumored: The Avett Brothers Craze & Klever Faith No More Imogen Heap Jack White (in some way or form) Pavement Pretty Lights The Raveonettes Spacemen 3 The Stooges Tegan & Sara Thom Yorke
Faith No More, Pavement, Stooges, and Muse are all but confirmed.
Yorke and Spacemen 3 seems like a little bit more of a longshot, but nothing GV couldn't pull off.
Bonnaroo is gonna have to bring it to stay on top this year. Coachella's upper mid card is gonna be insane. I don't see an 09 type stomping by Bonnaroo, more like the 08 versions, which i thought were pretty equal if not lesser than Coach.

Oh man. I really wish Coachella were doable for me. Sadly it's on the other side of the country, and my college is still in session in late April. If even half of these rumored bands showed up, I'd be elated. The Stooges, Jack White, Faith No More, Echo & The Bunnymen, Thom Yorke, Phoenix, and MOTHER SMURFING DEVO!!! (Say what you want about Devo, but they're one of my favorites. Most people just like to hate on them even though they don't know anything beyond 'Whip It').
Yeah, I am a former Coachella goer that looks to be making the switch to Bonnaroo this year. I would love to see Devo and Muse live, but it would be pushing it since I work in an accounting office and the festival starts the day after April 15th deadline.
I just hope they don't pull some obscure band that I love (like last year's Throbbing Gristle) or David Bowie out of their hats.

Someone on the Coachella Board found a rumor on a gorillaz website. Looks like they might be headed to Coachella. If so, it pretty much confirms me going this year, end of semester or not.

depending on that rumored lineup, especially thom yorke, i may make my first trip to coachella this year... the limited camping capabilities and short sets really turn me off though
i hate that one has to stay caged to enjoy a beer, but i love that wherever you walk, you are walking on soft, green grass...perfect for barefoot walking
^^^could happen...right now, my spring fest is looking like either JAM IN THE DAM, in amsterdam, or coachella. seeing as how ive seen most of the bands at JAM IN THE DAM, i will probably do coach...depending on the line-up.

I hear this year they are finally doing Ins and Outs through out the day for campers along with RVs.
man if that was real i would be there. as far as making one of those for bonnaroo. i can help making the lineup. but i don't know how to make a poster like that.
here is a preliminary on the lineuup. just a start. you can add to it. change it. whatever. it still needs dj's, some reggae, world music, bluegrass and maybe a few more indie acts.

this would be my revised take on sangreal's lineup. And it's poster ready.

The xx instead of The XX, and maybe Zach Deputy lower. Also I don't think Grace Potter will be back.
Also a suggestion for the poster, it seemed like last year the poster was along the same design as the website. So the Bonnaroo on the top of the page now will probably be the one used on the poster.
