Deputy was proposed by me, a few pages back in this thread. Think of it as a vice-Inspector.
The Deputy... - doesn't get to know who the Inspector is, or communicate with them. - does not receive the Inspector's initially-given name. - receives results of Inspector's nightly guesses. - is promoted to Inspector (and receives the initial Mafia name) upon the Inspector's death.
Not saying we had to do it... just made a suggestion to bolster the Inspector without imposing rules on them, in light of the recent string of Mafia blow-outs. I don't even know if Bacon is going to use the role. That's his discretion.
Sorry I have been so absent. It has been a busy two weeks for me but I am back and can ref. Since recruitment has taken so long I am going to send PMs to everyone to confirm they are playing.
