a beach...is a beach...on the Pacific, Atlantic or Gulf...though it IS proven that the Gulf Coast IS warmer than eithet the Pacific OR Atlantic...and the Gulf IS the only one with the White Sugar Sand....oh...but you'd have to KNOW something about the geographic nature of the Gulf Coast to actually KNOW that... But I'm sure you all already knew that now didntcha? ;D
Are you really this big of a moron or are you just playing one on the internet? Yes, I knew that the Gulf of Mexico has warmer water and much nicer, whiter sand. I've been to both the gulf and the west coast several times, but WHAT IN THE FLYING quack DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THIS CONVERSATION?!?!?!?!?!
THERE'S NO SAND OR WATER AT COACHELLA!!! MEG SAID THERE IS. SHE WAS WRONG. THAT WAS FALSE INFORMATION.
Is that really so hard to admit? I honestly wish you guys weren't really this stupid but sadly ...
gollleeee, lots happened since i last took a look.......that was funny.... seriously what was with that guy?.....goob
love that "calm down bro" pic...i def got the sense he was heating up quickly.....made me laugh!
Im listening to alot of the Embryonic Lips album.......it's different, but thats what i like about the Lips. Wayne is always evolving things with them...reinventing themselves in way. But its still pretty loud, so thats good.
also listening to some KEller, any suggetions on some good tunes to check out of his?

do you think they'll stagger shows the way all good does so we don't have to miss any? i can't remember if there are two or three stages, but it doesn't seem unlikely...

There's 4 stages. two big ones at opposite ends of the beach and two smaller ones. It'll be interesting how they're going to schedule things.
A Thieve's Parade 2/24 Conspirator 2/26 Kevin Smith 3/11 Keller 3/17 Papadosio 3/18 JJ Grey 3/25 Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer 3/26 Toubab Krewe 3/27 O'Death 4/11 Budos Band 4/22 EOTO 4/28 Summer Camp 5/6-29 All Good

cool rockinghood....i would appreciate that greatly.
did anyone else see the updated website b/f thee removed it? it was brief, maybe i just happened to time it right, and it leaked me in...i dont know. ?
The website has definitely been changed a little bit. There used to be a link next to "Artists" that said "Schedule". When you clicked on it it just said that the schedule would be announced in the coming weeks. Now that is gone. Also, the "FAQ" section has been moved into the "About" section.
Maybe it means they're working on releasing something? I hope so...

yeah it was strange cuz there was actually an individual tab for the schedule (like there are for artists, about, and etc) and i clicked on it and it was ben folds five in every slot........................................it's doing it again!!! ben folds five on the schedule....check it out!
LMAO!! ;D What a stir this whole Coach/Hangout thing started geez people! It's all just music festies! Not World War III! Coach has no beach...got it...knew it YEARS AGO. Gulf Shores MIGHT have Polo Fields ( they have a butt load of Golf Courses, have never LOOKED for a Polo Field down there so can't say they DON'T for sure) but the Festie WON'T be on a polo field. So...can say that there is one BIG difference. But....so what? I thought we were just discussing the things that were sort of the same and sort of different and everyone starting taking offense and splitting hairs and all it is SOOOOOO unnecessary. Find a Festie that has music you like and GO...to as many as you can! Check out the vibes and then go BACK to the ones you REALLY like! How hard is that? But for goodness sake don't jump into another festie thread and start bashing it for comparisons to another festie.....we have a dwindling number as it is...we should ALL be Pro-Festie on this board regardless cause the more Festies we have....the more choices we have!
^ what she said. Im just really happy to be able to go to a new spot to see a lot of the same faces and artists i've seen at other festies and shows. Because its the first year for the Hangout there might be a few logistical issues here n there, but at the same time, this isn't the organizers first rodeo. Plus, because its new, everyone there is essentially in the same boat. Where to go to do this. Where to go to do that. 30000 dazed and confused ppl on the beach with great tunes for 3 days solid???? Sounds like the kind of place i'd like to be. Roll Tide!

ahhhh I haven't been on this site since last summer, so hello and yessss I'm alive lol.
i'm planning on going to the hangout and would love to hangout (ha) with some of the awesome people I've already met from the boards and I'm always up for meeting new friends.
I'm super excited about this festival and all the good fortune it will hopefully bring to Gulf Shores

KRIIISSSTTTTEEEENNNNNN!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYY So glad to see you girlie!!! And happy to hear that you are going!!! I just replied to your pm with my number again - you are bad with phones - LOL
I wish now that I had held out and rented a house. I got a condo when there was one other person guaranteed to be going with me but now there are something like SEVEN people going and my condo only 'technically' sleeps six. I didn't expect to be getting any money back on the condo investment but now I'm going to charge all these people something, which means I could have spent a few more hundred and got a sweet beach house. Oh well, it's not like I'm going to be at the condo much at all anyway hah

You know whats gonna be awesome?!??????.....girl talk on the BEACH!!!!!!!!!!......his shows are masterfull spells of get down/boogie/dance like a maniac fuel that leave you spent but wanting more....so much fun everytime! I, for one, cannot wait for that night time (obviously not "LATE" night) dance party!
I'll get with Meggie and we'll look into the logistics of it. Her gang has a condo close to the festie and I have my parent's place in Orange Beach which is further out, but we can't totally trash it or I will be disowned...but it IS closer to the FloraBama. So...let us consult and we'll come up with something awesomely fun for the Inforoo Post-Festie Party. Do we want to do it Sat or Sun night? Are a lot of people leaving Sunday after the festie or are most of us staying and leaving out on Monday?

I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.
