I believe Wolfaroo, myself, and another will be leaving late Wednesday night and driving straight through (14 hours I think) to be there semi early on Thursday. I'd like to enjoy the beach for a bit before the festie starts. I guess we'll be leaving for home Monday morning. Actual plans are not set in stone.
Adam, we need to hash out a plan. Devon will just have to follow our lead and do as we say.
That's pretty much my plan right there. I figure we'll leave Bloomington around midnight or maybe even like 10 or 11pm on Wednesday night, I can drive reliably through a good part of the night (as evidenced by driving up to Chicago at 2 in the morning, in an altered state of mind, to pick up Tim at the airport ) and we can switch out drivers occasionally. That way we should arrive in Gulf Shores somewhere between 3-5pm (we can check in to the condo at 3) and chill / swim / party all night. Devon will do what she is told. haha

i've got some conflicts. fri...everything from 4:45 to 7:15....only two acts going in each slot, but i want to see them all!...bummers sat....not bad. sun....looks good.

Hey guys! So here's my situation...
A friend of mine has decided to buy a ticket and tag along, and he's reserved a camp site at the state park. however, if any of you know of friends who might want to camp, he would be greatly appreciative of the company, and being able to split the cost. or even if you think you might have room at a campsite you already have reserved...i think you can put 4 at a site. either way, i just want to make sure he's not all alone, though i'm sure he'll have plenty of heady neighbors.

my biggest conflict. I'm kinda leaning toward Pnuma Trio but I dunno..... I may just wait til I get there and depending on what mood i'm in I can just make a sudden decision.

sooooo i just realized the actual schedule was out, and holy crap am i excited! RR and Pnuma are my only real conflicts, but i think it'll be RR. i'm on the beach, and no one can light up a crowd like RR. i'm basically going to be walking from one end of the beach to the other the whole weekend.

Dude, who cares what your friends want to do? Go see the shows you want to see. You bought your ticket right? My group is going to be about 8 strong and they can go see who they want. If they happen to go to the same show as me then I'll go with them, but I'm not letting anyone dictate my vacation. There's probably a few in my group who have no interest in anything electronic and probably a few who won't want to see ZBB. Who cares? We're all adults and can do things solo or in groups. Besides there will probably be inforoo people at every show anyways.

yeah...considering the sheer number of inforoosters, and the many crossovers i see already in people's schedules...i think you'll always have someone to groove with. and honestly, some of my best times at shows were when i was just left to wander on my own.
I still have a campsite reserved for... three nights I believe, and I've got a condo now so I won't be camping. I've been hanging on to it in case any members of my group decided to camp or whatever, but I doubt that will be the case. Let me know if you want it, I could probably part with it at this point, and the first night is already paid for

i have a friend who also got a campsite, so if any of the members of your group do end up camping, he'll have 3 spots available if you want to cancel your site.

Yeah that is a dilemma. If it were girltalk vs alison krauss, I would go see girltalk. But the fact that Jerry Douglas is playing with her makes me a little indecisive.

I generally have no conflicts whatsoever, which is awesome. The only conflicts I possibly have are between artists I hardly know anyway, so making a decision between them on the fly will lead to little or no disappointment at missing the other artist. I'm so stoked.
