Yes. Yes indeed. I keep "realizing" that it's really close. Like I know that it is in just a couple days but I'm in too much of the daily grind kind of mindset that I keep forgetting. Like last night, sitting over at my friend Jordan's house, I was like "oh yeah, I should get ready for that, it's in like... two days, holy crap." I wish it was today, I'm READY.
So these friends of mine, who were going with us and staying in my condo, just said they can't go - one of them is going to Brazil immediately after Hangout (she knew about this when she bought the tickets) and the other one doesn't have any money (why she hasn't been saving for the last two months or more I don't know). Anyway, got a couple tickets for sale, relatively cheap since I told her it was going to be a little difficult to get rid of them in two days. Hit me up with a private message if you are interested.
I saw on another board that you're planning on going parasailing. Have you called any of the places to get pricing? I've tried calling a few places, but to no avail.
This site has the pricing breakdown and I talked to them briefly on the phone. I guess if you go early in the day when it's not busy then you might get 12 minutes up in the air, if not it's about 8 minutes. I'm still not sure if I want to spend $50 - $70 (depending on height and number of people with you) for 8 minutes in the air, even though I'm sure it's totally amazing.

I am terrified of heights at certain times. I would be completely ok parasailing, sky diving, bungee jumping etc... However, I have a hard time climbing things like firetowers. I get vertigo for some reason. I still enjoy doing it but am completely uncomfortable while doing it.
Oh and if Wolfaroo has extra tickets, then I guess I'll have 3 extra Keller late night tix if anyone wants one. They're only $5 but I have to pick them up there.

I know what you mean, I get a little creeped out by heights - if I'm standing or in a position where I could potentially fall. I think I could probably do anything height-wise as long as I was in a secure sitting position or had a nice rail between me and the edge haha.

yup! i'll be leaving Texas around 10pm tomorrow. i'd rather drive through the night since i have to drive allllllllll the way across Houston, and Houston traffic is hell on earth. should be in Gulfport, MS around 10am Thursday to pick up Kaleidoscope Kristen. won't be in gulf shores until about 6am Friday, though.

If I didn't have my son tonight and all day tomorrow, I'd want to leave now. I'm getting antsy. Got a dogsitter last night, so that's done. Just need to pack a bag, pack a few things that we'll need in the condo, mow my grass, lock the door and leave. No work tomorrow. Just spending all day with my son before we leave.
Good god hippie, how many miles are you traveling? I thought our 700 and some odd mile drive was bad. This is actually the longest trip that I've ever taken part in driving. I've been to Florida of course, but wasn't old enough to drive. If the trip was any longer, I'd fly.

haha no, it doesn't. but handgun and bama can't head down til late thursday, and it's bama's house, so...
however, wolfaroo has so kindly offered kristen and me a spot somewhere in his recently pseudo-vacated condo, so we'll be there thursday afternoon afterall

haha...it's about 10-12 hours to gulfport, but the later arrival was for reason listed above. gulfport is only a couple hours from gulf shores.
looks like we're crashing with you thursday night...ROOMIE! :-p
