I have been keeping a list of the acts that they have mentioned on twitter. I have not included bands that they mentioned that played last year. I expect most of these acts to be on the lineup, if not all.
Liturgy All Tiny Creatures(they played last year but the tweet hinted that they would return) Cold Cave The Dodos Generationals Beach Fossils Man/Miracle

This is shaping up to be awesome. Swans, All Tiny Creatures, Generationals....gotta try to make this happen. If the compose actually is Chatham, I'm pretty much sold.
Swans sell me on this, alone. Such an awesome, legendary, and relatively rare act.
Add to that, the Dodos should be nice. Don't know what their show is like, though.
I loved Visiter and saw them live shortly after that album was released. I was really excited to see them, but they honestly kind of blew. It soured me on the band so much that I haven't listened to either of the subsequent albums. Hell, I haven't even listened to Visiter since before that show. I'm aware that this is a weird, irrational reaction, but I just can't get excited to listen to the Dodos anymore. Of course, based on live reviews and their general reputation as a live band, the show I saw was probably just a fluke.
I heard a rumor last night that the Flaming Lips are one of the headliners. Unless they are playing the Soft Bulletin I really have no desire to see them again so hopefully its not true.

Hate that I had to miss last year, especially considering I only live <2 hours away. TVotR and/or Flaming Lips would be so awesome. I'm probably there regardless, though.

I can confirm that The Flaming Lips are indeed the Saturday night headliner. I personally couldn't be more excited about that, even though I am seeing them in Atlanta next month. I'm all for a celebration of that magnitude in downtown Raleigh.
Guided By Voices will also be there, and I think they'll be the Friday night headliner. Also: Superchunk, Archers of Loaf, Swans, Toro y Moi, Cold Cave, The Dodos, Titus Andronicus, The Black Lips, Julianna Barwick, Rhys Chatham, Dawn Golden & Rosy Cross, Little Scream, Megafaun, The Love Language, Future Islands, The Rosebuds
I could be off on one or two of these, but I'm fairly certain most of them will be there this year.

Only way I'm not there is if Swans and Chatham announce tour dates that are more convenient for me. I don't see Chatham scheduling an extensive Southeast tour, though.

I heard GBV as well though I wasn't sure if they were supposedly the headliner or preheadliner. I've been trying to ignore this rumor since I had to miss them last year and I am trying not to get my hopes up. I would be pretty surprised if Megafaun ended up on the lineup since they are in Europe the first week of september. I am way too excited for this lineup.
Actually, you're right, I haven't heard anything about whether or not Megafaun will be there, I was just kind of assuming on that one. But you're probably right, that's probably one of the ones I'll be off on.
Then again, Brad from Megafaun and Grayson, who books this thing, are best friends, so I'd be very surprised if Megafaun didn't schedule for this, unless they just mutually agreed on "not this year."

Bishop, the guy who books this fest has an awesome enough taste in music that there are gonna be some great semi-rare surprises every year (i.e. Dungen and Tortoise last year, Swans, Archers of Loaf, and God knows who else this year).
