LOL, what a joke, UNC gets off scot free. Make up a major, put athletes into said major, a benefit not given to all students, and NCAA says we can't punish you.
Watch out UT-San Antonio, I bet you made 3 too many phone calls at some point in the last year, major sanctions coming!
East Playoffs are a joke, West is a little better but Warriors still win.
Warriors v. Cavs Part IV; Warriors in 6
The west is better top heavy, and the east has the nets/hawks/knicks, but 4-9 the east is probably just as good as the west. Timberwolves are pretty unknown, don't have a ton of 3 pt shooting, Peli's just lost rondo and have nothing to offer at the two or three, Browoogie can't play all game, grizzlies are going to miss the playoffs idk marc is old, conley is really the only player that could really take over a game but that's not his style, they lost a lot this offseason, blazers should be good but i don't really have faith in anyone on their team outside of dame/cj. nuggies could be the 5, but i'm not sure how well milsap is going to fit. I don't really think those teams (plus the Jazz i guess) are all that more impressive than the Heat, Bucks, Pistons, Hornets, 6ers.
Only bold prediction I really have is the Lakers might make the playoffs, but if they do its not because the West is super hard.

As a Heat fan my knowledge of the East goes way deeper than my knowledge of the West beyond the top 4. My West 5-8 could be way off. But I like the additions the T'Wolves made and I think they'll make some noise and I'll at least guarantee them in the post season. Everyone else in my prediction might be wrong tho.
While I agree that 4-9 of the East is as good, if not better than the West's 4-9, I think with Hayward's injury teams 1-4 in the West are better than every team in the East except Cleveland.
the west 4-9 is much better than the east 4-9. The Pistons??? lmao
(a healthy) Reggie - Avery Bradley - Stanley Johnson - Tobias Harris - Drummond (Ish as the 6th man) aren't contenders or anything, but I could easily see them winning more games than the Griz, the Pelis, the Jazz. The Timberwolves won 30 games with the last two ROY's, yeah Butler is going to make them better, but it's going to reduce the role that Wiggins had. I think a LOT of weight is being thrown behind a 28 yr old with only 3 good seasons and little playoff experience (as much as I think he has been great, and is from Houston, and how good a guy he seems to be)
The point is that team misses the playoffs in the west. They might win more games playing shitty east teams. I mean the 76ers being as good as Utah or Memphis?? They don't have a single proven player at this point.

I don't think Utah is a good example. Do they have anyone reliable other than Rubio and Gobert? And Rubio only won 31 games last year with a superior team surrounding him in Minnesota than he'll have in Utah. That team might be really bad.

Minnesota was basically Rubio and KAT. Wiggins is being highly overrated here. He wasn't that good last year.

I bet they beat both of those teams this year, head to head and by wins. They're better offensively, they're more athletic, Saric, Embiid, JJ, Covington, TJ, Amir, all proven players. They will also likely have the ROY (whether it be Simmons or a late surging Fultz). They've definitely got most aspects of a good team checked off, good coach, a star player, a play making wing, good 3 pt shooting, post defense, post offense, wing defense, idk I really think they're being underrated because of memes and concern about embiids health

Wouldn't call any of those dudes proven besides Reddick and Covington. Embiid's played like 30 games in three years. Fultz looks bad. They'll be similar to last years Timberwolves. Too young.
