don't understand the padres going all in on a Turner or Xander when Tatis comes back in April and their 2nd and 3rd basemen are very good. even Kim was an excellent backup ss/util guy.
Maybe Tatis goes to the outfield. He played out there before. They just seemingly want offense. Gonna be funny if they miss the playoffs or get popped in the first round snd the Dodgers with half the farm system on the field kicks their ass.

Machado opting out after 2023 is likely why. Take a year with Tatis, Soto, Machado, Bogarts and take your shot. Someone moves to 3rd if Machado leaves, and they probably think signing Soto long term will be tough.

They've been wanting to move him to the OF for ages now, even before his latest shit.
Red Sox ownership is absolutely getting trashed on sports radio and in public perception. And deservedly so.
10 years ago, the Red Sox were a dominant team with tons of resources ready to keep chase with the Yankees.
Now, it's the Padres spending like crazy and having a dominant team trying to keep up with the Dodgers.
What the Padres were 10 years ago, Boston is now. It's so gross, knowing we're, better than this. We have no reason to behave like Tampa Bay, but the crowds are gonna look like Tampa's if this cheap behavior and last place finishes keep up.
get a closer let jd walk resign devers get a decent pitcher trade away guys to rebuild
idk that y'all should really be trying to make big splashy signings to compete. or why guys would really want to jump into this roster. eovaldi is really the only guy I'd consider a good playoff option on the starters, wacha definitely pitched out of his mind don't expect that will happen again, bello still seems a way away, rich hill will eventually stop playing baseball (?). just seems like they could quickly hit a reset and then go back to spending when the roster is maybe a little more vibrant
lol that couldn't be more entitled, the Giants had more titles in the last decade than the dodgers, and more appearances than the dodgers all time. I don't think they make moves purely out of spite for the dodgers.
