I'm a little surprised by the decision to dock pay for the next 50 games but allow him to play. I took a class from the arbitrator in this case and had a long discussion with him about a labor arbitration over discipline, and he agreed with my interpretation of an excessive monetary penalty in a particular case.
I mean this was part of the reason they werent trying to go on a spree during free agency since they werent sure of their money. Im sure if it was the Mets they wouldve cared less.

And WHAT lmao the whole point is to win the World Series.
Whatever makes you losers feel better, I guess. Whether it's some other team not signing Carlos Correa or, "um, the Astros cheated so their fans can't say anything about the rapist we employed".

Pretty big difference in how the two Astros fans here regarded Osuna vs supre defending Trevor Bauer as a "kink lord" but I guess cuz my team did something I hated means every other bad thing someone does should go without comment. That makes a ton of sense.
I'm so confused what's happening with this man. Is someone stuck eating his contract if he doesn't land somewhere?
What's the deal with his leg? Is it made of wood?
He's a free agent, so I don't think so.
It's an old injury from his minor league days that hasn't affected him since, but he has a plate in his leg that *could* affect him sometime in the future.
To me it's funny that the Giants said no and the Mets were like "we'll do it!" and then did the physical and came to the same conclusion. Like, yeah.
