So we’re officially fucked at SS now that Lux is gone. I mean it wasn’t like he was gonna make or break the season but we had a capable body in the hole. Looks like they might have to platoon the spot unless we pickup a stray SS somewhere.
Bright side is May made his Spring debut, that kid is 🔥
Horrible injury. Feel so bad for the kid, was really hoping he'd break out this year. Rojas is ass offensively and really don't want him as the starting SS all year. It would be nice if Chris Taylor could return to 2017-2020 form but I'm not holding my breath for that.
Crazy that they went from Seager to Trea to now having a huge hope there.

I know.. the day before I was reading an interview where he was saying he was excited to finally have his shot. The fall off is huge given the last 2 SS we had but I was glad that we didn't match the money they got elsewhere at the time. Aside from that I'm really looking forward to this season, I feel like its a turning point for the team.
Me and Mayo are starting our tour of all 30 ballparks this year (I mean, technically we've already checked off Wrigley together, but may officially revisit anyway lol).
Has anyone else attempted this? Or aspire to?
this is like a lifetime goal, let alone one year, good luck!
Oh we're definitely not doing it in a year, my wording was shit lol.

Let me know when you get to this area! We have 13 parks that are 7 hours or less from my house. My dad wants to do at least 1/2 of those this year that he hasn't already been to, and then come to your neck of the woods and check out his old stomping grounds and hit as many as we can in a week or so out that way. I'll let you know when we do that!~
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Will do! What are the 13 parks? I'm bad at figuring that stuff out lol.

Here are the teams. I don't know the names of all of the modern/commercialized parks at this point. I can tell you what every team's park was back in the 80s, however. My dad used to quiz me on which park each team played at.
Milwaukee Brewers Detroit Tigers Chicago White Sox Chicago Cubs Cleveland Guardians Cincinnati Reds Pittsburgh Pirates Philladelpia Phillies Washington Nationals Baltimore Orioles New York Yankees New York Mets Toronto Blue Jays

I know Mayo is going to the Orioles joint later this season! With some other inforoo people too I believe.
So far this year I'm for sure hitting up: Chase field (Diamondbacks) Dodgers Stadium Angel Stadium of Anaheim
Check out Petco Park too. Such a nice stadium and a great location right in the Gaslamp
I'll be at Angel Stadium at least once(work event) and Chavez Ravine as many times as I can lol. Hoping I can get close to my all time high of 14 games in a season.
Petco at least once too and maybe back to SF if the cards lineup.
That's my home park <3 I do intend to visit many many many times this season, though!
Oh nice lol. In in Anaheim and Ive driven down for the day, caught a game and then back home that night more than a few times!
We're soooooo spoiled with the park and now also with the team. It's really exciting times for Padres fans, after a very long struggle as a farm team lol.

It is, the NL West is gonna be lots of fun this year! I'll be down there at least once when the Dodger play the dads

Cubs and sox would be the easiest to try to plan cause theres likely home games for both a bit over the season on a weekend. Sox tix will def be cheaprr.
