If I were betting, I'd take under 81 wins for the Red Sox and another last place finish. It's gonna be another lackluster season with no direction and no real desire to spend money to win.
It's amazing how John Henry and FSG turned multiple winning franchises in multiple sports and made all their fanbases pissed off for shoddy leadership and lack of effort. (Red Sox, Liverpool, Pittsburgh Penguins)

I was shocked when I saw Kluber as the Sox opening day starter. Love the guy, but well past his prime.

This is a 101mph fastball that Oneil hit 425 feet (with an exit velo of 111mph). If he cuts his K percentage down he's going to be the best SS in the league. Big if, but still.

Very funny what the Astros and Altuve (who never cheated, he's basically the only one on the team and maybe in baseball history) have done to the once-proud New York Yankees.

Oh yeah. Guardians dropped the opener, as they always do, and now they're 3-1. I like to extrapolate but I also like to be fair, so I'll round down and say they're on pace to win 120 games. Just a record, no big deal.
Not sure if anyone has been following the regional sports network debacle, but things are about to get interesting in some markets. Diamond Sports Group (Bally's) has the rights to like 14 MLB teams, and just filed for bankruptcy. They're expected to pack it in at some point, creating a mess. MLB has said they'll make sure fans can watch games, but how that will work out no one knows.
I already got rid of my cable a couple months ago, thinking I could use the pricey Bally's app to watch Cavs and Guardians games. I even confirmed that they carried both but apparently their rep lied to me - no Guardians game, despite highlights and other Guardians content, which is weird. So with the end of the NBA regular season nearing, I cancelled that too, and told them why. Hopefully DSG dies a swift death and MLB puts all games on their app or something with no local blackouts. For now I'm forced to use Kodi, because I'm not going back to Spectrum and Sinclair/DSG/Bally's only has deals with a few streaming services, because they don't like money or existing.
