I'd be less into filling out benches just because I know how these things drag out. maybe have the 9 batters, a util guy, 5 rotation pitchers, and then a few relievers or something
Just my recommendation but don't think Ruth should be considered a two way player and take up two roster spots. We kinda talked about this a few posts ago, but Ohtani is really the only true two way player and equally good at both pitching/hitting.
Ruth pitched a couple of seasons before giving it up completely. Like, he may be the greatest hitter ever, but no one is drafting him to pitch.

Yea wasn’t sure what to do there, we can abandon that.
potentpotables i really hope you can experience this one day w the pirates. What a glorious time to be alive watching the orioles like this
It's the best position the organization has been in, since I've been alive. Better than the mid 90's teams that had serious championship level talent but was a clear short term window. Better than a decade ago that was HR only hitters and land of misfit toy pitchers.

Derby was nice last night. I kinda hate the format though. Kid from the Orioles was my favorite and he went out first round. Switching and Hitting 6 of 8 from the right side was so fun to watch.
They need to get De La on a plane to Seattle. I know he's only played 30 games but he's becoming appointment television. I just wish the blackout rules weren't so bad where I'm at. Even with the package you can't get reds or braves games in Knoxville I'm told.
I really like where baseball is and I love the new rule changes. I thought I would hate them.
Is this a second half fantasy draft or an inforoo draft?
I would do an inforoo draft if we could also do a second half fantasy draft. I am trying to follow much closer for the rest of the season.
No this is an alltime MLB player draft, with an added "spade" twist. You can check a page or two back for more details. If you have some general historical knowledge of the all time greats this would be for you.
Boston has a 9 game west coast trip starting the year - Seattle, Oakland (Vegas?), and Anaheim. Then after the ASB have Dodgers and Colorado on the road. Everything else is in Eastern or Central. Not bad.
Play at CIN, PIT, and STL - all on weekends. Intrigued to try one of those.

This schedule release is two months earlier than normal (though last year was earlier too, not this early).
Fantasy baseball league is looking at a father's day weekend trip to the DMV - only weekend before August when O's and Nats are in town at the same time.
Also the live auction is Vegas is getting some heat.

Oh man, Marlins are playing the Nats Father’s Day weekend which would be awesome to go to, but that’s also very likely to be the Sunday of Bonnaroo
