Started the season slow but dude has been RAKING lately. Guard Dogs are a fun team.
And yesterday he scored what was ultimately the winning run on a wild pitch... FROM SECOND BASE. When a team's best player plays the game as hard as him it's great leadership for the young players, and this is why the Guards have been so unbelievable this year. Josey is truly a pleasure to watch every day, and may be the game's most complete player.

Fun stats I heard yesterday: Joey Gallo is hitting .147 with just 4 HR, while striking out 62 times in just 116 AB. That's a strikeout more than half the time. If he kept that pace and were able to play enough to get 500 AB he'd eclipse his own futility mark and crush Mark Reynolds' MLB record of 223. Of course if he keeps that up there's no way he sees that much time.

Well, everyone absolutely hates this move for the Astros 😅
Bloss and Loperfido were our two biggest call-ups this year. Hurts to give up both for a guy who's been pretty bad this year, even if some of his underlying numbers are more encouraging.
