now now folks...i must trump y'all...I live in Beer City USA...as voted and registered for the 2nd straight year...my problem is that none of the local brewerys can any of their beer...
I love Asheville!!! Highland Brewery is probably one of my favorite brews from there. Kashmir and Gaelic Ale are about as solid as they come. I wish they had cans for roo.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
Also wanted to plug a beer that I only drink when I am at roo, and it is the most refreshing and perfect for the heat.
Yuengling! Yes I know its not an IPA or and Ale, but in that Tenn. Heat Yuengling out of the ice box is a solid refreshing beer. Not bitter, not skunky, no metal taste, just sweet brown nectar.

If I can find a case of canned Dale's Pale, Magic Hat #9 or something comparable, I'll bring it. But if not, expect to see me carrying around Yuengling or even Pabst.

If you can't find those, give Paddy's Pale Ale a try.

Just ordered a case of Magic Hat #9 from one of my beer vendors today. Gonna hit up all of my other distributors to see what fun cans they have for me! I probably could get some samples as well. Hmmm...
By checking this thread I just realised I posted the other day only to point out the fact that I was drunk. I'm thinking the point I meant to make was three fold; 1. that I need to track down some of this magic hat in cans, 2. 2 cases of beer will most likely not survive Thursday between my drinking and my tendency to share alot, especially when drunk, and 3. smartphones can take the concept of drunk texting and allow one to make an ass of ones self to much larger audiences.

I am going to get some of this stuff. It is a little light and sweet for day to day drinking, but should be great in the heat. Plus it is a 5.8. Buckbean Original Orange Blossom Ale, it is a little orange soda tasting but refreshing for all that.
I like Narragansett - it's the PBR of New England.
Gansett Tall Boys have been a tradition of ours at Roo. They really quench your thirst in the TN heat. And the 16 oz size makes you drink them really fucking fast before they start to get warm. Added bonus.
so I called Whole Foods and they have the Newcastle in cans on hand. Bless the capitlist hippies and their free range beer section.
Newcastle comes in cans?!?!!? I am literally beyond excited right now. I must find some. I am an adopted Geordie, so naturally the Brun Ale is my favorite. I will have to check my Whole Foods.
Just ordered 2 cases Magic Hat 9 in cans. Never had it before, but I am looking over the board here and figure why the hell not. I like beer. Normally Im a stout guy but not in the heat...
I'm bringing in two cases of Caldera IPA (from Oregon- I'm not, the beer is) and would like to trade one case for a case of Magic Hat #9. Any takers in VIP? Alas, no #9 in cans in Missouri. PM me if you can help me out!

Oh man, I almost forgot! It'll be a pain in the ass, but I'll have to see if I can get my friends in MN to get me some Surly Bender, Coffee Bender, Cynicale, Bitter Brewer, or friends in Chicago to get some Half Acre Daisy Cutter (I forget what they call their hoppy blond). I'd be totally set with those tall boys for the weekend.
