I'm really hoping to head down to Bonnaroo this year but I'm not sure if I'm going to have the funds. This company WilliamPaid is having a contest for free VIP tix, preferred parking, VIP tent, etc etc:
I figure the chances are better for this one than the Prefix Mag contest. You have to sign up for an account, but it's completely free and they're a legit company. Plus if you refer people you get extra entries (hence the referid link).
Why are you advertising these? The odds of winning will drop significantly when people find out about them. I have about 50 Bonnaroo contests that I've entered so far this year but I'm not going to tell people about them because my only hope of attending Bonnaroo each year is winning tickets (I've won tickets the last 3 years). I work hard to find the contests that I do and I like to keep the odds in my favor.
But, just to be nice, I'll give you a contest - one that I know I'll never win as it's heavily advertised:
The prize is a trip to Bonnaroo for you and 10 friends to camp out in the Fuse barn.
Here's another contest that isn't available in my area:
I can't find the link but it's a radio station in Philadelphia. 104 or 105.4 FM or something like that. You submit a photo of your best concert memory. The photo with the most votes wins. The winner gets round trip airfare from Philly and 2 Bonnaroo tickets.
The radio station I listen to is giving away a big package that the call The Road to Bonnaroo. The tickets are called "friends and family tickets" and allegedly you camp behind the Which stage. Have anyone heard of this before?

yep. not sure if it was exactly behind the stage, but it's close to everything... arent they called "access" tickets?

We're also giving away two GA tix to roo... You can enter the draw either with the purchase of a $5.99 tube of Show Sticks (concert friendly glow sticks) or by submitting an 100-word essay on why glow sticks are awesome! Full details available @ www.GlowStickWars.com. Good luck!
He currently has 24 followers so tell everyone you know to follow him.
Seems great, but nothing about his twitterfeed makes me think he's legit. Only about 10 tweets, all promising giveaways but light on details and despite begging to get even 100 followers since the beginning of april, he still sits at 25.
I know the camping area is called Access but having camped there it is not behind Which and there was no special admission. Cool to camp so close though. Nothing in the world like waking up to the sound of Stephen Marley in the morning (afternoon?)

Hey Ellie, I already bought my Roo tix so winning tix wouldn't do me any good but I'll enter some contests and if I win I'll hook you up. :-) Us single girls gotta stick together. ;-)
www.williampaid.com/?referid=11474 I forgot I need to spread my personal url for this contest. They have 3 options for contests and 1 option is for Bonnaroo!
Also, kinda late but there was 1 on the wild honeypie facebook and whoever gets the most Likes wins a ticket. www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/thewildhoneypie The leader already has 92+ Likes though and it apparently ends on the 12th.
Because sharing is caring, here are some more for you folks still angling for a ticket (sorry Ally but I hate selfishness in all its forms so I have to spread the love).
Oh, and just a handy reminder to people (especially those of you who never read fine print) there are a number of contests (Fuse/Twix, Odwalla, Altpress) that you can enter daily or multiple times so increase your odds by remembering to submit the extra entries. :-)
I decided juuuuust in case I can get the word out fast, I'd do the facebook honeypie one...so here's my post: www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/thewildhoneypie?v=wall&story_fbid=390701987308 Like my post and I could win a ticket!
I did share, just not all of them:) I'll post them after I win my tickets. Here's another contest that hasn't been listed yet. Anyone can enter it but you have to post a video by May 12. Even though the video contests have the best odds, I'm not very good at making videos. I made a video for the Statesboro Bonnaroo contest last year and it turned out horrible. Anyways, enter here:
Also, If you are really into sweepstakes, get a free account at: www.online-sweepstakes.com It helps you keep track of which sweepstakes you can enter daily, monthly, weekly or unlimited. The free account is great but for $30 a year, you can sign up for a premium membership which gives you access to the best sweepstakes. It's really worth the price. I've won a ton of stuff over the past 3 years, including two 50" TVs, Bonnaroo tickets, tickets to Steve Miller Band, tickets to Shooter Jennings, an Ipod Nano, a Microsoft Zune, autographed magazines from AP, a year supply of Kelloggs cereal, a year supply of dog food, a Beetles Rockband game, a $50 ESPN gift card, a flip camcorder and a ton of other stuff that I can't remember right now. Anything I win that I don't want, I give to friends, donate to the Salvation Army or I'll sell it and donate the money to a local organization (usually the humane society). That way, I'm helping a good cause and I'm getting a tax write off. Remember, you have to pay income tax on anything that you win so if you can't afford taxes, don't enter to win. I have a ton of other tricks for winning sweepstakes but I'll save them for the blog I'm going to start since most of you just want to win Bonnaroo tickets. Anyways, good luck everyone!
I won a Bonnaroo ticket from the WILD Honey Pie. Yeah! I still need to win a ticket for my friend but as promised, here is a list of every Bonnaroo contest I have entered or saved (I wasn't eligible for some). Some of these contests are done but most of these contests don't end until the end of the month. Read the rules to be sure you can enter. Good luck! ;D
