So did it make it or brake it? I'm not going to let 2 hours less MMJ than I expected ruin my weekend or change my plans. I can see the shimmer of a silver lining and it is telling me that getting to see some crazy LN tent Leno I would have missed which will be awesome.
When it becomes official I'll make that decision. I wouldn't buy a ticket till a couple of weeks before anyway.
I was leaning towards seeing the 4-5 hour show over anything else, but I'd be so upset about missing the late night tents. Looks like now I don't have to miss out on it! Sucks that they'll have a time constraint, but oh well.

i was definitely pumped for the late night marathon, but i'm beginning to take this view
I'm okay with them pre-headlining. Lets me see more late night acts.
Now the goal is to HEADLINE and get 3.5 hours next time they play.
In light of this information I am tryin' to make peace with this idea.
...it's not workin' too well. I was really lookin' forward to another latenight MMJ set (one that I could and would catch all of!). While I'll certainly be disappointed if all this comes to fruition, I will still be rockin' out at MMJ, catch a bit of Arcade Fire, and then get a good spot fer a late night after a while.

I only talk about the 2008 show because it's the only one I saw.
I'm coming around to being happy if MMJ play 8-10. They will likely be playing without much conflict and it frees up my late night selections because I was really getting worried about all the shows I'd miss if I wanted to see the whole MMJ set.
You should all be glad that MMJ is playing 8-10. The two late-night Bonnaroo shows get way more attention than they should, while the daytime sets of 2003, 2004 and 2005 were all arguably better and tighter. In particular, nobody ever talks about how completely awesome 2003 and 2005 were. (Loads of people like to talk about The Monsoon Show, however, because they like to pretend they were there. They weren't.)
Hi my name is Juggs I'm edgy and controversial. I say stuff just to piss people off and I am superior to you and everyone else because I really WAS at the 05 Monsoon set (and you weren't). You can call me the Dane Cook of Inforoo if you like.
