Yup. Plus, I think at this point they wouldn't need a stage, but a tent could do. Rush late night would be fine, if in a tent (and I think they'd require Which, given their huge cult status) but Tull would just be too cool.

Tull late night would chew up the farm and spit it out on the other side.

You don't sound like a hipster know-it-all in the least.
Just because a band is technically proficient doesn't mean they don't sound like they're stuck in the 70s and 80s. Some music has aged well, some hasn't. Rush hasn't.

the video he posted was in the 70's. i bet you haven't even listened to new rush.
Is that one of their biggest hits? Then it doesn't matter. Their music hasn't aged well. What bands say they're a big influence today?
no it's not one of their biggest hits. lots of bands are influenced by rush. les claypool is probably the biggest name and almost any prog rock band that came out after them.
Laggy, Rush would not be a cheap get for Bonnaroo.
I think the whole discussion is moot. They are on tour this summer. It seems Rush is a band that tours only every few years. They are on tour this summer, it's doubtful they will be available next year.
