Boris would go over really well. Very high energy show, lots of fog machines, etc.
Sunn O))) would be cool but not sure I'd ever want to see them at a place like Bonnaroo. They're best in smoke filled rooms where you can't see a thing.
Considering the success of last year and the types of rumors i'm hearing this year I'm hoping we don't get all slow-prog and swampy sludge. I really like Kylesa's rockin southern tunes and enjoy lots of the other suspects but I don't want bonnaroo to forget about speed and technicality either. They've got a pretty good track record (Shadows Fall, Dillinger, Mastodon, prolly more good examples) but metal is a relatively small part of the festival and i might get hard to book the right kind of diversity.

I'm really thinking that we're going to see Anvil on the farm this year. Their new album is set to come out the 10th of May. I think they would put on a great show.
weedeater would rule. intronaut def should do this, they would sound awesome. some others that would be sick: harvey milk earthless (this would kill) thou black cobra boris, as stated
and just because i want to type it, electric wizard. i just want to see them, at all.

^Electric Wizard would be alright, the newer stuff is a lot cleaner, but I still wouldn't mind seeing it live. It'd be a hell of a lot better if Mark and Justin settled their shit and started playing together again. In the same vein, Ramesses would be awesome though.
And I'm with you noage and Lerxst, Sunn O)))/Boris/late night drone tent would kick SO much ass.
I really do hope Boris makes it on the line-up. No matter where AC/Superfly puts them on the line-up, they will slay.
There are no words to describe seeing them perform "Untitled" from their album Smile. It truly is a metal masterpiece. Friends of mine who went with me and saw them last July told me it was one of the most intense shows they've ever seen. Like I said, there are no words.

I'm pretty much expecting a return by Mastodon this year, and maybe even in a Which Stage slot. I would very much like to see Down happen...I was really disappointed when they pulled out in 09', but I guess I can't blame them considering they played the main stage at Download to 80,000 people. I hope AC wouldn't hold that against them...
i'm thinking they get helmet this year. other than that, kylesa and maybe the sword and/or mastodon coming back, i'm stumped as to who else they would get.
Electric Wizard would be the best thing to ever happen to Bonnaroo but it won't happen...some of them have some legal issues so it makes traveling a bitch. Some metal fests have been trying to get them for years and it just isn't possible
High on Fire and Om don't have any dates during this time and Sleep's been doing some reunion shows. Pretty big name who would be a fun set.
If Mastodon and the Sword both get put on that lineup, along with Massive Attack, Black Star, Big Boi, Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, etc., I'll start holding up convenience stores if that's what it takes to make the money to get there.
Between the buried and me were on last years fake poster, but they should be added to this years real line up. according to their "myspace" page they are gearing up for something this year, possibly another album.

They're recording a new EP with Devin Townsend...pretty sure they have a headlining tour coming up with The Ocean, too.

totally man. It's nice to just say it outloud. You happen to read the article in last month's Decibel about them? Some reclusive dude's and dudette right there, but that's what makes them, them.
Sleep would be next in line to be totally awesome. Caught them in Philly when they did those string of shows, man, so good. Getting chills thinking about them on the farm.
I really do think Intronaut have a good shot of bearing that 'Baroness' spot, mad hype on the new record from reputable sources.
I may have missed something but has anyone thought about Maylene? They've got the right size following to really hold down an afternoon show, plus they've got a bigass tour gap starting on June 6. Methinks that would be lovely.
These guys tore up JaxX, a metal nightclub we have here in Virginia. Unfotunately, YouTube footage of that show was of inferior quality. So here's a WAAY!!!!! better performance. Dig It
When you go into the Pit and everyone is together doing an Irish Jig, and then a minute later all hell breaks loose, then after that you help them up and wipe the blood. That's when you know you've been to a good show
