I've probably said this a million times on here, but Baroness needs to be a return act. I seriously thought the Other Tent was going to collapse after their show. I mean they absolutely abused the hell out of it and made it their biznatch.
Danger-Yay: Deftones; perhaps my all time favorite. Skindred; ballin idea for the farm plus their live energy i feel would be rediculous even for a daytime set Gojira; If we can enjoy Dillinger Escape Plan on the farm then this should be easy Between the Buried and Me: Great songwriting. Sometimes it speaks for itself. Dethklok; Skwisgaar Skwigelf, taller than a tree. Toki Wartooth, not a bumblebee. Pickles, the drummer. Doodily doo. (Ding dong, doodily doodily doo). Nathan Explosion.
Danger-Nay Slayer; I love Slayer but like it or not they have a historically brutal live show and pit. Great band but I don't think it's the right atmosphere. Mudvayne; I'm sure we can find better quasi-progressive metal than this slop. Dragonforce; They can only hold my attention for a couple songs, but I'm open to convincing otherwise.
You forgot William Murderface Murderface Murderface

This can't be stated enough.
Absolutely! I saw them open for Metallica twice last week and they were just amazing live. The people around me didn't know who they were but they loved them by the end of their shows. They are also really really nice guys

Baroness was sick! They definitely need to come back along with GWAR, they were so awesome it was scary.
Iron Maiden Mastodon The Sword PROTEST THE MOTHER F*ING HERO!! Rob Zombie Dethklok late night set. You know you want to. 3 Inches of Blood High on Fire Accept (their new album is off the hook) Machine Head High on Fire
Lazarus A.D. If you guys haven't heard of them, go look them up. They are bringing old school thrash back from the grave.

Ok so iv read about 2 real "metal" bands in this thread all the rest are either gay emo stuff or bands that have no right to be called metal. I want real metal. Whitechappel Iwrestledabearonce Brother von doom Salt the wound Sons of azreal

Sorry but grindcore and deathcore does not constitute as "real metal". It actually constitutes as two of the most horrible sub-genres of metal to be conceived.
The fact you seriously suggested Iwrestledabearonce makes me discredit anything and everything you say concerning Bonnaroo.

Saying that this list constitutes "real metal" and that everything else is this thread is "gay emo stuff" is blasphemy against metal, and you deserve to have your metal-listening credentials immediately revoked.
Gwar, Nonpoint, Dethklok, High on Fire, Baroness, andddd I'll take Iron Maden. I like Black Sabbath more as a band but I just don't have faith in them putting on a decent live show anymore...but I would love to be proven wrong about that.
Dethklok more then anything! They could get a group to dress up as the guys and just bang heads all all show, play 2 short sets and throw in a little metalocalypse routine for the set break.
It could defiantly be the show of the weekend if done right.
Mudvayne is pretty sick live I have to say. Same with Soilwork, a swedish metal band. I'm sure I'll get opposition here, but they'd be able to put a similar show to Baroness...just tear the quacking roof off.
Rob Zombie is pretty sweet too, saw him at Ozzfest in like, 06. With Killswitch Engage, Soilwork, Iron Maiden, Mudvayne, and Ozzy. It was a pretty sweet show.

I'd love rammstein but I don't see it happening. They're not really roo friendly enough... then again Gwar played last year, and it doesn't get as brutal as that... I suppose I could imagine Rammstein on late night which but I wouldn't count on it
