Maybe you guys could do breakfast beforehand somewhere. find an easy spot to meetup vs getting lost in the venue or getting distracted by music, etc. *shrug*
was really hoping one of you guys had a leak on the schedule! My group is dwindling and some are trying to decide if going for just a portion of the day is worth it.
I think I read on their twitter that schedule's going up on/by Friday, but who knows.
and I'm gonna be screwed it they want the emailed tickets with ID cause the person I got/am getting mine from can't make it. Hmm... I couldn't get that link to work. Says the session expired.

Make a photocopy of that person's ID, with a note that gives you permission to use that person's tix and that person's signature. That should work, it has for me before (not at Virgin or MPP, though).

Something tells me it'd be too much work for them to go through that many emailed tickets, especially if some people cant make it or gives their extra ticket to someone who's going separately, etc.
But yeah... what's the deal with tickets anyway? They were supposed to be sent out yesterday, right? Did you guys get yours??

^ I got an email link that enabled me to print them from home, I'm not sure that they are actually mailing any of them. I also think some of the more local people are picking them up at will call locations in the area a few days before the fest.

There's print at home, will call pick up, and 2nd day air according to the website

I agree w/ Ellie - I can't see them checking that many IDs at the gate unless they want a hell of a flustercluck on their hands.
I printed mine out yesterday and there's no mention / disclaimer about bringing a matching ID. There's a barcode on each ticket so hopefully they'll just scan that and let us through - like every other time I've been to MPP.

Yeah, there's no names on the tickets or explanations of any special entry procedures, except to bring the ticket so they can scan it.
They wrote the non-transferable thing on the ticket page to discourage resale, but all indications are that they are not going to enforce it, unless a bunch of peeps show up with the same barcodes of course
Anyways, if anyone wants mine let me know and I'll forward you my ticket link.
There is a restaurant called Eggspectations about 5 miles from Merriwather. I've been to the one in Sliver Spring a couple of times and it was pretty decent. A Canadian chain with 4 US locations. Plus full bar for Mimosas and Bloody Marys.
Yeah. I figure as long as it's only scanned once, there's no problems. They just say that to prevent selling of tickets and whatnot. But...MPP's twitter responded to someone saying you need to take ID and your confirmation email. I might print out the emails to be safe, but making sure it's the person that bought it is ridiculous.
