I think I'm getting too into Fallout 4. I'm playing as a female character and I've realized....the only reason I keep Piper around as a companion is because she makes me look prettier.
I haven't focused on any one spot, but keep setting up settlements, fortifying each one extensively, and maintaining. Once I think everything is set, I'll get a new mission to set up a new one, and by the time I'm done, each other settlement needs assistance in some way,
This game could very well consume my life if I let it.
Bloodborne's DLC is great stuff. I'm a high-leveled character and even I am finding the first boss tough (the second half of the fight). I love the revamped areas.

I haven't stopped playing TG on blops 3. Shadows of evil is great, don't get me wrong, but I cant seem to be able to stop playing the giant. I'm hoping the thrill of if fades, but I don't see that happening.
Bring back the moon. Bring back NML. That would distract me.
hows everyone doing on FO4? I'm in around 30hrs and level 27-28 I think. I maxed out piper and preston, working on cait now(she can pick master locks). I've done very little in way of the main story line just still kinda wondering around doing side quests. I maxed out my intelligence and the dumb luck one. figured the more points I can score from the start will add up in the end. Have also really took a liking to creating weapons.

I've done parts of the main storyline but mostly focus on exploring and learning more about building settlements. I'm still a little lost on some aspects of junk/scrapping/modifying armor and weapons but getting there.
Just made it to Diamond City and got inside before turning off the game last. Will probably explore that a bit and then leave and knock off a few minor quests I have.
Just picked up Fallout 4, excited to try it out. I've never played any of the previous Fallout games, and the last video game I really played was Lord of the Rings Online.
Hoping to fire it up for the first time tonight or tomorrow.
My laptop's GPU is on the minimum end of the specs (Nvidia 760m), but no issue on the CPU and RAM. Hoping that with some of the optimizations I've seen I can get a decent fps with nice detail.

I've finished the main quest on my main, I think. Other than that she is just running around doing settlement stuff and side quests. Build is higher intelligence, higher charisma, small guns. Actually working up stealth right now. I really love the perk system and that there is no level cap. Think she's about level 28 now.
I did reroll a new character with a ridiculous build. 10 Endurance, 10 Luck, and 3 Perception (just enough to get lock picking perks). Immediately chose the Idiot Savant and Cannibal perks. He takes a lot of drugs and uses whatever weapons he wants because he's equally terrible with all of them. I call him Ducky the Lucky Cannibal Junkie. Really fun character, high endurance makes him hard to kill, and the luck stats are just ridiculous and fun. Idiot Savant dings frequently, one time it dinged for a quest completion and I gained two levels at once.
Overall I'm really pleased with the game, I know I'll be playing it for years to come. Bethesda games are like that for me, I played Skyrim regularly for a good four years.

Im in the between of progressing the main story yet getting my ass kicked (playing on very hard). I just started running out of materials building up settlements so I decided to retrace all the spots ive discovered but never explored/cleared.
First playthrough is just me and my pooch being good guys, my second I plan on being a bad guy with a human companion. Are their bad companions out there?

I haven't played with all of them(Just started with Piper) but, so far, the only one that really doesn't give a shit what you do is Strong. He's cool with murder and cannibalism, etc. Cait is chaotic good and doesn't have much of a moral center. I don't think she likes any faction? Like at all. She doesn't even like you helping the settlements. haha.
Piper, Preston and Deacon are "good." They do have strong opinions on factions but that's about it.
I cannot stand Strong. Preston is the biggest limpdick companion in video game history. I sent him to a settlement I wasn't interested in and left him there alone.
Deacon is awesome! He's got the best dialogue and personality, imo. Piper is pretty great too.
I've heard good things about Nick but I'm waiting until I continue the main quest before I get him.

Ohhh, and for where I am.
I'm level 40 or so? Just went to Diamond City for the first time Monday. I've been over most of the map and have my settlements pretty pimped out. My build is stealth/sniper heavy.
The best quest so far is the side quest the hotel janitor in Good Neighbor gives you. Were you go to the bar looking for a the "brewkit." The payoff to that goofy quest is what makes Fallout so great. So entertaining.
I've never played any of the Fallout series, so brand new to me. However, I love building character/stats in RPGs, I casually enjoy a FPS every now and then (at least when I used to game), so this game seems to be a match made in heaven for me.
About 10 hours in and getting things figured out slowly but surely. Will be fun to reroll a character after a while so I can better spend my points as I become accustomed to the game, plus have various builds.
This game is going to be a major time sink for me.

Yea, once you get the hang of a bunch of things it feels better to reroll a character and really focus the stats/perks on what you want to accomplish. There's so many things that you discover while playing that make you think "I wish I knew that from the beginning" but that's half of the fun.
It's pricey ($129.99!) but how great is that collector's set? I wish I would have gotten Bloodborne, DS2, DS1, and Demon Souls collector's sets back in the day solely because those are my favorite games. They need a price reduction, though...
So I'm still playing fallout. I've logged around 60 hours so far. I just discovered the best armor mod so far. I did some jobs for the railroad (end of the freedom trail) and now have a ballistic weave mod for certain clothes. I did army fatigues and it put the DR to 110, PLUS I can put armor over the fatigues. GREAT!!!
I'm going to buy the first game I've bought in a few years this week. FPSs just never did it for me, I was pretty good at Unreal Tournament back in the day though. I'm thinking Nobunaga's Ambition, I loved the ancient Asian warfare games games as a teenager. I could consider getting Ark though.
It's only available for games that have not been released yet. The updated price will show up when you go to check out. You can narrow down the list by console on the left.

Bought a friend's built PC that run 2009-era games on high. Gradually gonna update it over the next few months, but there's no graphics-heavy games I'm dying to play. More interested in emulators, which from what I understand require heavier processing power?
Avoided BO3 for a while due to how awful AW was but I must say this is the most I've enjoyed a COD game since MW2.
Concur. Completing the challenges for each specialist is fun (just unlocked hero gear for Spectre last night!), lots of customization using the cryptokeys, BO2 level design... I'm enjoying it.

Depends on what system are you wanting to emulate?
I'd need to know the numbers on it to say but....
NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. and older? 100% a-OK.
PS1, N64? a-OK.
Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube, Wii? Depends on how powerful your machine is. Emulators for those are much more demanding.
