Dark Souls 3 is kicking my ass, per the usual. On a side note, Titan comics released a Dark Souls comic book today... you bet your ass I'm all over that.

I ordered the comics online. I can't wait to read them! I ordered the first and preordered the next two.
DS3 is rough. I'm about 20 hours in. I love it. It might be one of my favorites of the series.
So I'm a big fan of the civilization series, specifically civ 5. I've put hundreds of hours into that game, taking breaks and coming back, but now I'm not sure I will ever play again. I recently downloaded Europa Universalis IV and holy shit this game has some depth to it. It's not exactly like civ, but it scratches the same itch for me. Anyone who is into history and strategy games would benefit from checking it out.
This is my second ever "kickstarter contribution" and I am way too excited for this one:
I'm on my phone right now and I can't make out what that is… What is it?
My bad, inforoo made it an embedded image. When you click on the image it should take you to the kickstarter campaign for a Dark Souls 3 board game.
The creator of Dark Souls 3 is a HUGE board game fan but his company has begged him not to make any board games until he retired (a recent quote stated). So someone on Kickstarter got permission to create one. The set is OUTSTANDING. It might be the best board game I've ever seen. As more people donate until the campaign ends in May... more items will get unlocked. They are already at $1,400,000. You can also add on a few of the characters to your 'bid'. It's very impressive. It's also slightly high in cost... but the craftsmanship that has gone into it, imo, is worth it. It might be the best collector's item I've ever seen for a Dark Souls series game. The Dragon Slayer Ornstein & Executioner Smough pieces are so great. I'm not a huge board game fan (other than the usual - Monopoly, etc), but this looks like so much fun.
Also, I managed to nab a copy of the UK Diamond exclusive Dark Souls variant off of eBay on Wednesday, before prices exploded yesterday (actually, there's another seller who seems to have a ton of that cover for an even better price than what I paid the other day, www.ebay.com/itm/DARK-SOULS-1F-UK-EXCLUSIVE-VARIANT-WK16-/381605710205?hash=item58d979097d:g:M3MAAOSw3mpXFmqG , but just look at that cover will you?). Kind of want to get the "Praise The Sun" cover, too.

I love that cover. I got a copy of the US version yesterday and can't wait to read it.
Hey, maybe a Demon's Souls 2, finally... I'm ready for a more claustrophobic Souls game, again. Hell, they could even dump their brilliant development skills into a new King's Field, Otogi, Shadow Tower, or even Armored Core game. If they gave those properties a Souls-esque approach, they might be pretty awesome.
After taking it easy and slow in Dark Souls 3 for the last two weeks, I finally just said "screw it" and started tearing through it yesterday. In about 8 hours of play, I ran through 3 major areas and I'm now ready to fight the Abyss Watchers boss again. First time, I went in not quite expecting boss fight (because I had seen a Dark Wraith walk into the door and could see some life bars going down inside... needless to say, he kicked my ass) without trying to go into Ember form and get an NPC summon. I'm slightly overleveled for this part of the game, being SL 54 I think.
I'm now obsessed with the game, unlike a From Software game has grabbed me since the first Dark Souls. A+ game from what I've experienced so far.
I hope they put out a Bloodborne 2 next year... I loved the first. I would be happy with Demon Souls 2, as well. I do like in the article that he said he could be "persuaded" to do another Dark Souls sometime in the future. There's hope. Plus, I'm glad we are getting DLC this year and next for DS3.
I love Uncharted, but I am kind of hesitating buying Uncharted 4 with DS3 and festival-season in May and June. The only advantage is Amazon Prime's discount if you pre-order. I can't imagine myself putting DS3 on the shelf for Uncharted 4, as much as I love the series.
On a Nintendo news front - no new Nintendo system and new Zelda game until Spring 2017. I am okay with this. More time to play DS3.

Yall don't fear Team ninja, koei tecmo and Sony already have a samurai dark souls clone in the works by the name of Nioh. Demo is currently live on psn.
I could never get into a those games myself. Too much dancing.

I've seen some gameplay vids and it looks comparatively tough, gonna have to dl it before it ends.
I am 50+ hours into Dark Souls 3 and I am completely obsessed. I just beat the Two Princes (I hope that wasn't a Spin Doctors reference) and I think I lack two more bosses. I have turned my warrior into a dark magic sorcerer and he does great unless it's a huge knight he is facing... which I can then use the warrior side of the character to tackle down. Some of these bosses are outstanding... they really took Dark Souls and Bloodborne, mashed them together, and just made a perfect game. The pve and pvp are both excellent.
Loot Gaming is very hit or miss... but just a heads up, this month includes Dark Souls, Uncharted 4, and Legend of Zelda. Use ANEXCELLENTCODE to save $3.
Just be sure to cancel after this month because it's a subscription.
