been playing titanfall 2 for a couple weeks now, and i cant sing its praises enough. if you want a fluid, fast paced shooter where every multiplayer map feels like a sandbox where you really can manipulate it in any which way, go with titanfall. the campaign is also a ton of fun even though its a tiny bit short. im sure BF1 is great and i intend to get it for myself for christmas, but if you want something totally new and extremely well done, go with titanfall.
Picked up Skyrim Special Edition for PS4 on release night (however long that's been, now). Haven't played anything but this since, possibly with more intensity than when it first came out in '11. Aside from a few crashed games, it runs like a dream on PS4 and the updated graphics really do stand out... it's not top of the line current gen good, but it still looks great. This really is such a deep game, I don't think there's another game in the last 15 years or so that I've logged more hours into.

I had the old game and DLC on my computer so got the SE for free and booted it up with a new character. I want to keep playing but I know i'll spend way too much time on it if I do lol
Buy them both or wait til next week when they're both half off.
But the correct answer is gears of war 4. 👽
Edit: looks like Xbox has them alrdy on sale for Black Friday. 35$ for tf2 and 40$ for bf1
Definite agreement that no video games should be purchased this week as everything is going to be on a deep sale next week for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I finally bought Madden because Amazon had a Prime sale for the same price as everyone is having it on Black Friday.
So I took yalls advice and bought Titanfall 2 and BF1 on Black Friday. Wont get BF1 till next Tuesday but I have been playing TF2 and I love it. Great 1st person shooter. Being in the Titan is so badass. Still not sure I know what im doing, but its been fun learning.

Once you really master the movement of the game and have the maps memorized you'll really start to fall in love with it.
Got the BF1 xbox package on black Friday and also bought COD at the same time. Pretty disappointed with COD to be honest. Started playing BF1 the other day and its been a lot of fun so far. You can literally destroy anything you want. Didn't want to go around a building to hit a target and found out you can just shoot the entire building down or drive right though it.
This is my first console in a LONG time and I'll be tired of shooters in a little bit. Does anyone have any game suggestions to mix it up a little?
Bought Titanfall 2, Watchdogs 2, and FFXV all in two weeks. Not sure what I was thinking except "winter is here lets hibernate". FFXV is still unopened.

Ugh. My ps4 is firmly on the struggle bus. It's been hesitant to go into rest mode at times for a bit now. The other day, I had to power it off via the button after it spent all night on the preparing for rest mode screen. When it came back, it won't read discs (you can hear the drive speed up then slow down again and again) and it stops responding to button presses on the controller after a few minutes. I did the disc defrag, initialization then initialization with system software reinstall in successive steps with no luck. My plan is to open it up tonight (it's way out of warranty) and see if there's a mechanical problem. Wish me luck (or give me advice)
Anyone tried the new Final Fantasy? I'm hesitant to plop down the full price for it just yet, so I may just go for a Redbox rental over a day or two... I'm hearing very mixed things about it, but most of it sounds like it's better than XIII (which I actually kind of enjoyed).

I was never a fan of FF games so with that said I'll tell this is the best final fantasy as far as gameplay to come along in a while. The action combat doesn't leave me falling asleep like the turn based. With all that said I also have to say that it has to have the corniest story and lamest character design ever. It's like a group of one direction muscle heads go on a road trip. Game looks alright considering it's been in development hell forever and prolly should have been out last generation.. Some things look good but some textures are muddy as fuck.
