I'm a little late to the party, but anyone playing elder scrolls online?
No but I got Skyrim: Special Edition for $30 on black Friday.
I'm making this insane dark elf mage character that only lives to serve her tireless bloodlust and endless desire to kill Nords.... with special attention to assassinating all their livestock.

My favorite specific runthough I did was Olaf the peasant. No awesome weapons, no armor. Just a fur trader who ran at the first sight of an enemy. Was pretty cool compared to 6 previous characters just killing all the shiz.

I've made a point to try and do quests with just restoration and illusion spells. It's hilarious. You really can kick some ass with high restoration. At least in the crypts.

the mods are quite fun, I've maxed out my character and taken to creating armor and weapons with insane enchantments that basically just render me a god. Carrying capacity of 100,000 and a bow that does a total of 50,000+ damage, health and endurance that don't go down, even if I let a dragon chomp away at me for an hour. Trouble now it finding quests that keep me interested, otherwise i just kill everything go that will die.
Well, I now own two PS3s... my original Slim is totally fine and everything, I've just always wanted one of the old backwards compatible bricks. Finally got one today for a decent price, along with Final Fantasy XII. Back in the day, I ended up going through three PS2s in the span of 4 years, and after the third one I said I'd never buy another PS2. In doing this, I never got to play some of the great games of the time like God Of War, Suikoden III and up, the Shin Megamei Tensei series, and never got to finish some of my favorites like MGS: Snake Eater, Klonoa 2, and Dragon Warrior VIII. So, now I'm on the hunt for some of those games as well as a couple of the Smackdown games (specifically Here Comes The Pain and vs. Raw 2006).
Anyone have any recommendations on great PS2 action, platform, or RPG games not on the PSN

You mention the Shin Megami Tensei games, make sure you play Persona 3 FES and Persona 4. Make sure you play FES and not the original Persona 3, FES adds new content and fixes some major ai issues. Plots are largely independent of each other so feel free to play either of them first. Persona 4 is one of my top 10 favorite games of all time. For Persona 4, once you get into December in the game, make sure you look up a spoiler free guide to get the true ending. You may miss it otherwise.
Also, make sure you finish Dragon Quest VIII (Dragon Warrior VIII), one of the best RPG's out there and not on PSN.
I'd recommend Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2. They are stylish side scrolling action games where you can manipulate time inside of a movie world and beat up enemies as a superhero. Neither are on PSN from what i can tell.
Killer7 is another one that isn't on PSN. You play as a guy who uses his multiple assassin personalities to advance through the game. Mix of an action/adventure game and a first person shooter.
Also you should play Godhand. That one is on PSN, but it is often overlooked. Absurd character action game where you fight all sort of thugs and people possessed by demon with various techniques and abilities. Check out a video of it, it's great.
So the Nintendo Switch gets fully revealed tonight, whose excited?
I'm excited. Is the system revealed tonight and the games revealed in the morning?
I can't wait to see more on the new Zelda game.
They are having an hour long presentation tonight @ 11pm ET. They should be revealing all the ins and outs of the system, pricing, release date, and the games at launch with a couple teases for stuff down the road. I'm hella excited.
That new Zelda game looks incredible. I'm really hoping the rumors of it coming out at launch are true

I somehow went all this time never playing Arkham City. Just picked up the remastered collection and am totally addicted to this. Should hold me over nicely until Resident Evil 7 and Hitman.
Thought the Switch looked pretty awesome. Where is this dedicated thread at? Zelda, Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 all looked amazing. The original Splatoon was my favorite game of 2015. Even though it's really far out, I'm excited for a new mainline Shin Megami Tensei.
Got a preorder in, trying to figure out how many games, accessories i'm picking up at launch.

Splatoon looks fun as fuck. That was the one game I wished I had a Wii U for.
We should set up some inforoo matches in Mario kart and Splatoon when they come out.
Absolutely! Splatoon is really fun and unique among shooters. Lots of movement options other don't have (turn to squid form and swim in your teams ink even up walls, jumping to allies). Splatoon 1 on Wii U also has competitive modes with ranking (king of the hill, payload, capture the flag), I'd expect the sequel to as well.
