I agree wholeheartedly with what bansheebeat said. Let's Play videos are a million times better than any review when I am looking to see if I should buy something.
Yeah, there are a ton of good Let's Play stuff out there. A lot of times I'll just find playthroughs if it's something I know I'd like but can't play it for whatever reason. That's what I did with Last of Us. I enjoy most of Roosterteeth stuff, but they have been around forever now, so it's a bit nostalgic with them.
Just got my graphics card and considering this, but the price point is turning me off. May wait to see if it goes on sale during the Steam sale in a few weeks.
SotC is one of my favorite games ever. It may force me to buy a PS4, even though I've already played the PS2 and PS3 versions. Here's hoping they fix the camera and controls.

Awesome, I'll add myself to it when I get home.
I've considered running an emulator version, but heard the frame rate suffers terribly.
Do the silver and gold editions of Shadow of War include a season pass? I've been reading up on the differences but never see it explicitly stated anywhere.
Picked up Final Fantasy XV for cheap last week... after putting in around 8 hours, I still don't know what to make. It definitely improved upon XIII's biggest issues, namely linearity and annoying characters. But damn, I am NOT digging this combat system. Or the whole driving thing, whether it's being confused by when I can actually drive or the mechanics of it in general. But I am loving the open world, character animations and graphics in general. The story seems like it could end up being pretty good too, so I definitely have reason to keep playing. But god damn this combat system...
As to what else I've been playing recently, I picked up a copy of Star Ocean 2 for PS1 and have been playing it a little bit. Also, been slowly working through the first Mass Effect, which I loved back in the day... these controls are rough in retrospect. Persona 5 has been holding my interest fairly well, and I'm glad to see that this is such a big game.
I'm thinking about picking Dark Souls or Demon's Souls back up and trying to do a "use what you find" run on one of them, just for shits and giggles.
