I started playing Horizon Zero Dawn the other day. What a beautiful game. It’s also making it very clear that I am super terrible at video games.
ncbst3 was really positive on that one as well. I no shame play games on normal or easy because I just don't have the time/will to be great at them anymore.

I'm thinking about knocking my difficulty down to easy because fuck these damn cultists after the proving.

It's a balance thing for me. I'd like the pride of beating it on a harder difficulty, but I like not having to replace a broken controller more. I have competitiveness issues even if it's just against AI.
Secret of Mana is coming to the PS4. This was one of my favorite games of all-time! Gamestop is the only physical version available but it will have a digital release everywhere else:
why is that 375$ for a 20$ game that released over a year ago? i think i may have even been on ps plus at one point. the game is good imo. plays like limbo but the puzzles are a bit on the easier side. the story is what you make of it as there is no dialog in the game but the setting is dark and eerie and ending stays with you making you want to play through at least once more. the total play time is about 4 hours roughly.

I just got No Man's Sky for under $10 from a used record shop, even with all of the negativity it received, that seems like a fair price even if it's just okay.
Picked BOTW back up after a few months of not playing it that much, and this game continues to blow me away. Seriously one of my favorite games of this decade.
Also, I started playing GTA San Andreas again... god, this game is STILL so much fun!
