Elder scrolls 6 got a teaser. So that's something.
Stoked about Elder Scrolls.
I will of course give FO76 a shot, but I'm not super interested in an online game. The reason I love ES and Fallout, and the reason I play them for several years, is because they are open world single player RPGs. Having said that I'm not mad at them for trying something different with Fallout, and will keep an open mind.
Also got God of War, Shadow of the Colossus and Uncharted 4.
I'll get Uncharted Collection and HZD during the sale later this week.
EDIT: My PSN is fortyfive33
Loading up on games for my PS4 and maybe XBO during this sale. Want some opinions.
I have God of War, Horizon Complete, Bloodborne Complete, SOTC, Uncharted Collection, Uncharted 4 and Journey Collector's Edition (fuck you it's a top 5 game ever). I still have ~$45 in prepaid money to use on Playstation. PS isn't taking my credit card for some reason, Xbox is.
Yay or nay on (PS4 price, Xbox price):
The Witcher 3 Complete ($24.99, $20). I played 2 for a little bit but never got too far in.
Middle Earth: Shadow of War ($29.99, $24.99) Haven't played Mordor but that's next on the docket.
Just Cause 3 ($7.49, $6.00) played 2, enjoyed it a little bit but wasn't a huge fan.
Watch Dogs 2 ($17.99, $18) never played the first one. Hear 2 is a lot better.
Dying Light ($13.99, $14.99)DL2 has me interested
Darksiders Collection ($15.99, NA) My computer STILL can't run the first one...
You have a sick collection of games already there. Of those options, Witcher 3.
I'm guessing you've played GTAV, MGSV, and TLOU? The Portals?
RDR2 comes out in time for Halloween.
Yup, played all those. Also got Metro Redux bundle and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for $17.50 total.
I'll probably get Witcher 3, Wolfenstein II and Shadow of War on Xbox. I'm 3 hours into Mordor and I absolutely love it.
I also bought Watch Dogs 2 on PS but I'll probably end up saving the rest for a rainy day...aka this fall and winter.
RDR2, BLOPS4, BFV, Spider-Man, Hitman 2, FO76 and the Spyro Trilogy all within three months of each other. AND THEN KH3, Division 2*, Metro Exodus, Crackdown 3 and Anthem in the next three months.
Has anyone tried Detroit: Become Human? I'd like to check it out, as I like a good story driven game here and there, but I don't think I want to pay the full price just yet.
Currently, I've been getting back into Fallout 4... played the hell out of it for the first couple of months after it came out, but so many other great games begged for my attention. This game is so fucking fun and deep. Really can't wait for another single player Elder Scrolls after I finish this... so, I guess it'll be play through #13(?) of Skyrim in a little bit, or I might just go back to Oblivion, which I haven't tried in about 4 years or so.

I've begun playing through Crypt of the NecroDancer. It's a rhythm-based roguelike. Essentially, the character's movement is determined by the beat of each song. Each level has a different song.
The game has a badass soundtrack to begun with but it allows you to play with custom music. You can change the songs on a level-by-level basis, even the bosses (so you can play the Heavy Metal boss with like a 60 BPM track).
Playing a roguelike to a soundtrack of Radiohead, Frank Ocean, LCD, and Sigur Ros is pretty damn awesome.
The problem with this game is it warps to the next level and the end of every song...but encourages farming by locking upgrades behind behind a particular type of currency. So it then encourages you to pick the longest fucking songs possible. I have a current setlist set up but I'm tempted to add 45:33 and Africa Express Presents Terry Riley's In C Mali.

Red Dead Redemption 2 seriously looks like a moody revisionist western that's following up 2 games full of genre staples and Leone influence. Nothing wrong with the later, it's just kind of funny how things developed along the same path as the myths/movies they take from.
Also, what little I've read about the gameplay seems really promising.
The trailer for Doom Eternal looks fucking awesome. My kids have always cracked to video games, but I rarely play them. I'm going to go VR whenever PS5 is released, and I'll just ride with that for a while. However, I was always really fond of the DOOM series games. I'll play Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3 BFG, Final Doom, Doom 2000 or whatever every now and then.

Have you played the 2016 DOOM? I haven't yet, but it received praise across the board.
My bad. Yeah. We did play that one. My daughter defeated the last boss as we were taking turns fighting him. Once you kill him if you try to go back to that level, it starts you at the beginning of that level. It takes forever and there are a ton of fights along the way (and you can't save it there), so I never got to finish it. I got to the end, but I couldn't finish it.
Okay, so No Man's Sky is amazing after the latest updates. I just started a new game and it's ridiculously addictive.
That's super cool. I never picked it up but I might now after all.
This isn't to say that it's totally devoid of bugs... I still clip through here and there and some invisible "curbs" pop up here and there on some planets. Also, I think I encountered a bug early in the game that caused me to spend (literally) hours looking over my first two planets looking for copper. I ended up skipping that and didn't find any copper until an update in the middle of this week. It could be just an isolated case for me with the randomly generated aspect of the game and what not, but it was still a bit on the annoying side and then poof one day I couldn't go to another planet without finding copper resources upon first landing.
But it really is great. If you like item collecting and farming, and just open exploration, you should dig it. It's just very light on combat gameplay (so far), and it seems to be generally discouraged.

Is there much or any interaction with other players or is it mostly a lone wolf deal?
