This isn't to say that it's totally devoid of bugs... I still clip through here and there and some invisible "curbs" pop up here and there on some planets. Also, I think I encountered a bug early in the game that caused me to spend (literally) hours looking over my first two planets looking for copper. I ended up skipping that and didn't find any copper until an update in the middle of this week. It could be just an isolated case for me with the randomly generated aspect of the game and what not, but it was still a bit on the annoying side and then poof one day I couldn't go to another planet without finding copper resources upon first landing.
But it really is great. If you like item collecting and farming, and just open exploration, you should dig it. It's just very light on combat gameplay (so far), and it seems to be generally discouraged.
Is there much or any interaction with other players or is it mostly a lone wolf deal?
I have not connected to the online play, but from I've heard it's more or less lone wolf with people popping up here and there... I'm honestly not really sure how that all works.

Oh ok. I guess I thought with the procedurally generated stuff it would be one of the always-online types of games.
Just read they may be bring NHL 2019 to PC. As much as I hate EA, it would be an instant buy.
Red dead 2 looks badass.
Wouldn't be too surprised with it. Madden came to PC for the first time since the 2008 game, so if that sells well enough (which I bet it will), it could definitely see sports titles coming back to PC slowly.

The NHL and FIFA games are my favorite sports games and I'm not even a huge fan of those sports. They just work so well as video games for some reason, maybe the low scoring.

not sure if this is the right place to do this, but here goes nothin.
So I just started streaming on Twitch a little bit, not trying to make it big or anything (still gonna keep my day job), but my channel has seen enough growth that I want to take it a bit more seriously. At the moment, I'm streaming mostly Fortnite and Overwatch, but I recently did a whole playthrough of Heavy Rain and had a lot of success with that. I also picked up Dead By Daylight and plan to play that on stream as well. I will be playing and streaming the hell out of Red Dead 2 when it comes out too. I'm not elite at any of these games, but I think I'm good enough, and have the right personality to be entertaining. My vision for my channel is an open forum for music, sports, politics, etc (the things I'm interested in) on top of playing games. Twitch skews younger, so it's a bit of a struggle finding a more mature audience, that's why I'm here. If any of what I just said sounds appealing, check me out here and hit the follow button. Thanks fam.

How the fuck did I end up posting this in this thread lol..
You missed Mass Effect. Duh.
Also: The Mist, Hot Fuzz, The Assassination of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Ford and Grindhouse... for those that got to see it in the theater.
Oh, I saw Grindhouse in the theater. I just cut it down to about the size of a tweet and had to slip some dumb shit in cuz the tweet I meant to reference (we are now so far from context) included the Mask. Which, the Mask is fine (Speed and True Lies are really good, mid-90s might be peak action movie), but weird to include with certain stuff still out there (NBK, Ed Wood, maybe the Crow, even Dumb and Dumber over the Mask).
As far as games, 2007 had Portal, Super Mario Galaxy, Orange Box, Bioshock, COD4, Assassin's Creed, the Witcher, Uncharted..

That's pretty absurd in its own right.
2007 was absolutely insane. That was also the year of Crysis, Rock Band, Halo 3, etc.

Pre-ordered Spiderman. Finally wrapped up the story modes for GTA v, far cry 4, and uncharted 3 (replay). Starting uncharted 4 and far cry primal to fill time until Spiderman
trying to finish up my first playthrough of Fallout 4... picking Witcher 3 back up... started a new build in Dark Souls 3... a cleric, for the first time... still chipping away at Persona 5... picking up Breath of The Wild here and there, still haven't finished my first playthrough... replaying Alundra, this time trying to get all of the Gilded Falcons... taking a break from No Man's Sky after binging on it for a month or so...
All of that, and Dragon Quest XI is out now and supposedly awesome... I'm very tempted to get it tonight or tomorrow.

I finally started actually playing Witcher 3 after picking it up a few months ago. It's quite good so far, and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.
Btw, Henry Cavill was officially announced to play Geralt in the Netflix series.

Animated or live action?
Live Action
Also, apparently it's based more off the books than the game.
finally got a Switch, been playing BOTW like a mad man
Nice, can't wait to get a Switch.
New Pokemon edition switch announced/set up for preorder yesterday (yawn). Smash edition console all but confirmed by some leaked pics, but not announced yet. Will more than likely be announced in their re-scheduled direct (rumored for Thursday).

anyone else here built a gaming PC before? I've been doin a ton of research, will have all the parts today, and will be building tomorrow, so if anyone has any advice on building, that would be much appreciated.
