both look really good but I'm so spoiled by Game Pass that the idea of buying games for full price that aren't insanely good (like GOWR) just makes me sad

Guessing you’re an Xbox guy? The ps game pass is just alright imo. Yeah it is def hard to shell out the cash. Maybe I’ll play GOW 2018 instead lol. But dang as a marvel junkie , Midnight suns looks awesome

PS5 + PC Game Pass. I have a Switch I never use, and I left my Xbox One on a tour bus 6 months ago and never even attempted to get it back lol. PS Plus Extra ain't it for real, but I just bought a year sub on sale to see if it gets any better in 2023.

I have a ps5 as well and also snagged the game pass on sale last week. I agree the games are usually mid but there are some solid games on there. I had just played most before getting the game pass. No my mac book crapped out on my earlier this year and I haven’t bought a new laptop yet. I guess honestly I should just get a gaming computer next lol

you should build one now that the GPU shortage is over, it's a fun af process, plus all Xbox games come to PC now

Dark Souls 3 is on sale now, I played Demon Souls and Elden Ring this year and loved them both. Anybody have any opinions ? Should I pick it up ? I’m playing God of War from 2018 currently, never played it. It’s pretty fun but nowhere close as fun as Elden Ring and Demon Souls

DS2 and DS3 arent nearly as good as the rest of the souls games/elden ring but def worth a playthrough imo

Bought a few PS5 games on a whim from the sale. Jedi fallen order which I've wanted to try a d then got Gotham knights. If anyone plays Gotham knights on ps let me know. Also may buy the TMNT game that has like a dozen old TMNT games and just got some online co op

DS3 is fantastic. It’s as good as DS, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring.

I got a switch for Christmas and I'm excited to use it but a little intimidated TBH. I haven't owned a video game device outright since I shared one with my brother in middle school / high school.
I got it because I got hooked on a friend's game called Donut Country where you make things fall into holes and that's pretty much the game. Apparently there's a whole genre of "chill video games" out there that are fun and not stressful or need a lifetime's worth of video game skills (I really want to play Hades but my fingers cannot step up).
I'm not an Animal Crossing girl, but anyone else have "Chill Game" recs? My friend who gave it to me thought Spiritfarer would be good (that's how the death convo came up). Any other recs would be sweet!
