If I recall correctly, the total budget was around $3 million last year, so probably around a million or less for booking.

Yay for five stages!

That condo (in willsfc's first pic) right by the main stage is where I'm staying, again!

I'm hoping Jeff Beck, Wilco, and the Strokes will be heading over after Jazz Fest ...

^^^Read the Facebook page for the Hangout itself, rather than the fest. On there, there's discussion about names being released late this upcoming week. Looks like they are waiting on at least one artist to make their own tour announcement.

OK so this week we will make a couple of big announcements....we are almost done with pre sale ticket allotment (for the believers)

Im not so sure that means lineup...Id like to think they are gonna release part of it given the fact we are getting awful close to May but unless they absolutely say "were releasing the lineup" Im not going to get overly excited

That would make sense, They appear to be playing Beale Street Music Fest also, which is another one that they missed last year due to "illness" in addition to Hangout.
