most relevant magistrate i could find in pop culture comes from the show Rome and is played by actor Kevin McKidd I also was thinking about different crabs and there is a spongebob character called krab. Lastly a deck of cards has both kings, queens and "sorts" as in suits. Not sure how to follow through with any of these angles just thought I'd share the thinking...

With that being said I think it is Jay-Z!
Here's my logic. I looked up beach chair lyrics and the first thing that came up was Jay-Z and his song called "Beach Chair". "HOVA is what Jay-Z calls himself since he considers himself the "God " of rap. And Jehovah is anotha name for God." according to urbandictionary.com
On Tuesday (1.11.11), history was made when JAY-Z and Kanye West released their first single “H•A•M” off their collaborative effort Watch The Throne.
God is the only one who can't be dethroned because it's for eternity. Je(hova) is God. Jay-Z on a beach chair or God on a throne. (without getting philosophical here)

Bowie.
He appeared in two different movies as a soldier/veteran. I'm not to sure on the magistrate part. Here's the kicker. He voiced the character Lord Royal Highness on a Spongebob TV movie.
Although I don't actually care about him, Prince seems almost logical and that's as much as you can ask for with these things. Oysterhead would be nice though.
It seems to me that GC's response to Les Claypool seems close to a confirmation, or being on the right track... he doesn't deny (although doesn't directly confirm), or give another hint to another direction...

Mr. Krabs had a fast food place which leads me to burger king with the throne you cant abdicate. Dane Cook does a Burger king bit.

there are also trees called PURPLE PRINCE CRABS...
just sayin
Purple Prince Flowering Crab is clothed in stunning clusters of fragrant pink flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive rose flower buds before the leaves

He is definitely a veteran in the music industry.
There's no way Jay-Z plays 2 years in a row. Atleast not in any major role. MAYBE in an appearance during a Kanye show, which I still think is Very unlikely given his reputation among Roo'ers, even though he is playing Coachella this year and the 2 tend to have a good deal of carry-overs.

1. Kanye's new album was one of my favorite rap albums in recent memory 2. I wasn't there the year of Kanye 3. I feel like the vibe of bonnaroo is so welcoming and chill, cant those who were spurned learn a little forgiveness?
No way Jay-Z headlines 2 years in a row. I loved his set last year. It was fantastic. But it would be uber lame having the same headliner 2 years in a row like that.
While I could forgive Kanye, and want to see him, I don't know if AC and others could forgive so easily

Alright, guesses are up on the website, but I only put three up. I don't usually like to just list every single thing that's been mentioned....I can do that if that's what y'all want, but I don't think there's much point in it. A lot of things get mentioned that don't make any sense or that aren't even possible for Roo, and listing EVERYTHING on the site just muddles it up and makes it long and messy.
The only time we need a full list of every single guess is if we're told we have a right answer and we don't know what one. But apart from that, I think it does more harm than good. I mean, in an ideal world people would look at it and stop posting duplicate guesses, but the ones that get duplicated are usually the obvious ones that I have up there anyway.
BUT I'm seeing a lot of people asking for and/or posting full lists like that so now I'm not sure if that's what people want to see or not. Thoughts?
I think you guys are focusing too much on "sorts". I think it was just a way to rhyme with forts and it was just meant to explain that it's a character.
It does have a meaning....
thank you for the help/input gary. yet again......the help is always appreciated.
