There's a rumor these are the only American tour dates.
I have heard that and I have also heard a US Tour in September/October. Hopefully that doesn't mean September 30/October 1.
well i went back and looked at what the announcement said earlier this year and it said playing shows in the us in sep./oct. it didn't actually say tour. but that doesn't mean it's not a tour. also... on the atp london site, they have note that this will be their only uk performances of the year. don't see that on the us site, but it could be added.
Same. I can't afford it, but I'm going to go ahead and try for a ticket anyway. Worst case scenario, I don't get a ticket, or I get a ticket and transfer it to one of the masses that didn't get one for face.

Actually from what I've heard, ATP doesn't skew too hipster. I mean more hipster compared to a Phish show, but mostly it's just 20-40 year old music nerds packed in a weird concert space.

They will be there for Mangum I am sure. Suckers should have bought their tickets.

My old roommate and his friends would all LOVE this festival!
And they all think they are exactly what you describe NoD, and they always make fun of all the "real" hipsters whenever we go out... but they are all absolutely hipsters who just have no idea and I think it's hysterical

Wow. I hope this is true. Because at every other ATPNY, it's been will call only and basically impossible to scalp any of the tickets. Looks like you might be stuck with $1,000+ in tickets you didn't want.
Looked it up. The tickets get mailed out, but they have you "check-in" once you get to the festival. You show them your ID and they check it against the tickets (which have the name printed on them.) People tried to transfer them between names last year and they made it really, really tough.
