Yeah. BPB would be awesome to check out, plus a couple others. (can't remember at the moment but there are a few).
Problem is my stuff is all sorts of weird, I got two single day tickets originally because I wanted priority for Portishead both nights, and I figured I'd let the Mangum fans get their tickets (I'd like to see him, but that's certainly not why I'm attending). But now there are so many options, I don't know if I should upgrade to the sunday mangum pass or what. I feel dumb buying another single day for friday when I could get a 3 day with mangum, but idk. The other issue is both of my single day tickets were purchased by different cards, because of funds/tm gift card and things like that, so I feel like it may be a huge headache to "upgrade" to the 3 day pass, so I'm just not sure if it's worth it.
I also was originally not sure if I'd be in town early enough to do anything friday, hence why I've waited, but some things changed and I ended up getting an earlier flight than I originally thought I would, so now I'm rethinking things...
meh.
Whatever, will be a great weekend no matter what I decide.
For what it's worth, I doubt Mangum will play that long, at least he didn't when I saw him at a headlining show earlier this year.
At least that's what I'm telling myself because I hate missing any of BPB.
They made special notation somewhere that you will be able to see both JM and BPB. ATP is'nt the type of festival to go back on their word. I'm not too worried about that.
Just glad its out and I convince my wife to stick around till 6 pm on Sunday. No Portishead night 2 for me ..... But thats ok. I can live with one night.
EDIT: You'll be fine. I forgot they are attached, if I'm not mistaken. Its just Asbury Lanes that will be separate.

Portishead is above and beyond my #1.
Don't get me wrong, there's good shit all around, and I've already been told by some I'm "doing the fest wrong" because I'm mainly going for the headliner, but f it. There's no point in lying, I really shouldn't be doing this fest, finances wise, but I had to see Portishead on this tour at some point, so I might as well make it this fest. Hence why I have my ultramagnetic stop time being early, even though I have priority access, I'm gonna go get in line. Gotta be right up front one of the two nights. I WANT BETH TO HUG ME.
Some great stuff all around though. Definitely excited for the fest in general. But really... PORTISHEAD.

I wouldn't be going if Portishead wasn't there but honestly there are a few collaborations that I'll never get to see again. Company Flow/Ultramagnetic Mcs are two acts I thought I'd never get to see and Silver Qluster will probably never happen again in the states.
