"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

I still think that Big Boi and Andre 3000 are a possibility. That would be a huge get for Bonnaroo and suposedly they've been working for some time now on a new Outkast album.
And on a sidenote, whatever happened to Laika? the girl who was our new DJJD? Haven't seen her post on here in a while.
Several allotropes of boron exist: amorphous boron is a brown powder and crystalline boron is black, extremely hard (about 9.5 on Mohs' scale), and a poor conductor at room temperature.

I'm thinking that BoRe is still bore but that B&R also have meaning. I'm also thinking that figuring out the rest of the clue might be easier then concentrating on that one word.

I agree with you on the BoRe part. It made me re-think my Cold War Kids statement. Meaning 'bore' as in their last two albums were 'meh' and they also had Bad Reviews (BR).
However I doubt gary would intentionally say 'we're having a band that's had bad reviews'. Also I think we should focus maybe on the 'champions' part? Maybe a band that has several awards as well as a know feud (Arcade Fire and Flaming Lips?). T

I like the thinking but Gary took the Cold War Kids out of play just a bit ago.
Could it be that BoRe is capitalized like that specifically for when you pronounce it? Or more importantly since I haven't listened to Bonnaroo radio today, is it being pronounced 'bowray'?
Maybe there's something to that, I have no idea really.
Divine intervention made me think of Justice (divine with the cross symbol, and divine intervention usually meaning some sort of justice has happened for someone) But that only makes sense for that one line, and just barely.
Sadly, I think I was using the Radiohead theory on that band idea.

it was pronounced "bore", but clues aren't always meant to be spoken for interpretation, either.
There was the Boxer Rebellion in China against foreign intervention. The Chinese nationalists were known as Boxers to the West. Supposedly, spirit possession made the Boxers invulnerable.
