The second part of the clue, "...a war rages amongst champions we are calling for divine intervention" makes me think the "divine intervention" could refer to a Greek god. I feel like if we stick to "God" or "Jesus" it's just gonna lead us to another metal band, lol.
During the Trojan War, Athena had to "intervene" and guide to Trojan horse, ending the war of champions...
Athena might be part of the clue. Or maybe a band from Athens, GA?
This is probably way wrong but I saw some logic with it beyond my wishful thinking. I was thinking that it might be R.E.M.. They have a new album due out in March called Collapse of Now (which fits with the BoRe if it's referencing the atom bomb). Also, Bill Berry was described as their secret weapon and played for the band Hindu Love Gods (divine intervention) plus they formed in Athens, GA. I guess it could also be Bill Berry's band Hindu Love Gods. I'm horrible at the clues but I figured it might be worth mentioning.

sounds like the answer to me. i was thinking for the "war" part, have bobby and phil ever been in a feud or anything? still could mean bobby being at roo in the past with ratdog and phil with his friends.
Miracles are often considered a form of divine intervention, maybe we should be looking for band whose name is linked with some sort of miracle.
I'm giving you an awesome point back that you lost because that video is hilarious and as soon as someone said miracles that's exactly what I thought of too. F-IN MAGNETS HOW DO THEY WORK!? So funny.

So, from one Bo (Bosnian) Re (Representative or Republic) to another, a (Bosnian) war rages among champions (could refer to the Country's chosen diplomats). We're calling for divine intervention (divine intervention could also be someone who is Guided by Voices).

Could "a war rages amongst champions" be referring to a unification like in a boxing match when they unify the belts?
maybe Titus Andronicus with their song A More Perfect Union on the Monitor album.
In the Shakespeare play there is a point where Titus Andronicus ties written prayers for justice to arrows and commands his kinsmen to aim them at the sky (divine intervention)
I can't come up with anything yet for the BoRe part of the clue though. I don't know i could be reaching right now

I thought once someone, in possibly rumors, mentioned the idea of The Black Crows with Robert Plant, could cover the B and the R. A co-headliner ok'd by a rock god. Bore"to make a hole through" the the majesty of flight, a Led Zeppelin would sink, and though black crows can fly they are seen as unlucky.
BoRe = Box Office Records? There are various ways to pick a champion; total gross, biggest weekend, worldwide and domestic comparisons, biggest single day, etc. etc. Divine intervention might put opening during a holiday weekend... Vampire Weekend?

i haven't a clue on this one but my wish would be tool and APC haha... if you bore a hole you usually have to use a tool and you make a perfect circle.
Bonnaroo Wish 2011 Wish List.. Going Big lol... F&TM, Robyn, La Roux, of Montreal, Janelle Monae, Sia, M.I.A., Girl Talk, Daft Punk, Animal Collective, Radiohead, The xx (but prolly not), iamamiwhoami (would be a dream), Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear... perhaps more but that would be greedy haha
This is probably not right, but there is a band called DOM with a new cd called sun bronzed greek gods... I guess if you added BoRe to DOM you would get boredom.
Are the clues limited to revealing musicians, or could the clues indicate an event also? I couldn't help but think about Halo when he called out the B and R being capitalized. A war of champions fits well (tournament, Spartans/Elites, etc), and divine intervention could be a reference to the Great Journey. Sorry if that just seems like reaching...
From one Bonnaroo Reunion to another, a band of legends that won't play together, brought together for a one off by ac/superfly. That's what I see when I read it. Pretty sure it's not right but may be a different thought process. dreams of LZ or PF...

Boy joining a clue in it's seventh page is sooo much better than posting an opinion and letting the trolls eat it.
Personally, I think we should ignore the BoRe part and start focusing more on the champions part and divine intervention.
A war among champions makes me think that the band members are from different cultures. Divine intervention could be the person in charge and he/she could be a reverend of some sort, or a religious figure?

I think it is time for a human sacrifice we need a Roo virgin and quick. I have been 6 times so I am a little worn out and used up from the Tennessee heat. We neeed a fresh young'n from Alaska preferably of Eskimo blood. The heat has never affected them the way it does us. Anyone from Anchorage or above that has never been to roo but would like to help solve this clue PM me. I promise to use something to knock you out before we read your guts like it was done in the olden days of soothesayers and mystics.

Okay, "From one BoRe to another" -for right now I'm reading that as going from one thing to a similar thing, possibly tunnel, gauge, gun, hole, bored or boring, drill, needle...etc...
"A war rages amongst champions"- Thinking titans, clash, warriors, though it could be less physical warfare like debate or race. Conflict perhaps.
"we're calling for divine intervention" - a miracle is divine intervention but calling for a miracle is prayer. Praying, ritual, mass or ceremony maybe.
