My first two were Alabama when I was 5ish and Journey when I was 8.

First show I went to without my parents or a guardian was R.E.M at the Omni in Atlanta. Monster tour(1995), same tour as bdawg. I was 17.

Highlight was Mike Mills playing Kurt Cobain's guitar on stage alone with Stipe; doing their tribute song "Let Me In." Very cool!

I really wish I had caught that tour. People can talk whatever shit they want to about those bands now, but in 1998 that was where it was at, and there's no doubt in my mind that that was an amazing show. I still have the family values 1998 vhs

Still in my top 10 (quite possible top 5) concerts of all time. Started my five year love affair with Incubus, Limp Bizkit totally kicked ass (yes, Limp Bizkit) and stole the show with their energy, Rammstein gettin' arrested after four songs (I DEMAND A REAL USA TOUR SO I CAN FINALLY SEE THEM). I wanna buy the DVD as I lost my VHS some years ago while movin' around. Ahh, memories.

I saw that tour! Think it was my first show at Merriweather Post Pavilion.

But my first show was the 1992 HFStival with Catherine Wheel, They Might Be Giants and the Soup Dragons.

It was supposed to be Juliana Hatfield at the old 9:30 with my sister, but her friends were late picking us up and tickets sold out.
