First technical concert was "Weird Al" Yankovic at a state fair in Wisconsin in 1996, I was 12.
First concert I paid ta go see was the first Family Values Tour (feat. Orgy, Incubus, Limp Bizkit, Rammstein, and KoRn) on 31.Oct.1998 which started my love affair with live music. I was 14.

Well my first would really be teenage mutant ninja turtles from there album, I was young. But my first tic stub in my collection is marilyn manson I was 11 I talked my mom into taking me. She had NO IDEA. One day after she got the tics she brought home a grocery bag full of magazines with all sorts of crazy articles about him that people gave her from work....it was a bad ass show though

I really wish I had caught that tour. People can talk whatever shit they want to about those bands now, but in 1998 that was where it was at, and there's no doubt in my mind that that was an amazing show. I still have the family values 1998 vhs

Still in my top 10 (quite possible top 5) concerts of all time. Started my five year love affair with Incubus, Limp Bizkit totally kicked ass (yes, Limp Bizkit) and stole the show with their energy, Rammstein gettin' arrested after four songs (I DEMAND A REAL USA TOUR SO I CAN FINALLY SEE THEM). I wanna buy the DVD as I lost my VHS some years ago while movin' around. Ahh, memories.
New Kids on the Block. Early 90's. My dad bought my sister tickets and said if I have to go so do you. First voluntary was Aerosmith and Collective Souls.
Beach Boys with my grandma when I was 8. Weird Al with my little brother when I was 12. Then Social Distortion at the Tabernacle, October 2006. I was 14.
First concert was Bette Midler with my mom....first concert I paid out of pocket for was RATM w/ Wu-Tang Clan 1997 @ Starlake Ampitheater near Pittsburgh.

Sweet! Seeing RATM is a good bet for falling in love with live music. Worked for me.
