Veruca Salt opening for Bush in '97 for the annual Derby Eve Jam. I remember I broke my ankle skating the next day because I was left sitting in the examination room while all the doctors (and my mother) were out watching the race run. Good times.
My first concerts were the ones my dad took me along to see, Disturbed when I was 14 and the White Stripes when I was 16 (I enjoyed the latter so very very much, bee-yutiful). My first concert that I went too of my fruition was Gorillaz late last year, even though I had to pilfer my scholarship money to afford the trip, it was a dream to go.

my first concert without my parents... ill admit it. my 11th birthday one of my older cousins took me to boys to men and montel jordan. i got my picture taken with montel jordan and i thought i was "the shit"
Bob Weir and Ratdog, 2005 i believe.. We were in Chicago and my and uncle asked if i wanted to see a concert, the first show i really wanted to see was Clapton and Robert Cray
Trying to remember which came first, but Bob Dylan w/ Willie Nelson and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers w/ The Black Crowes were my first two shows. Think this was in 2005.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and The Black Crowes was in the summer of 2005, if that helps. I also saw this tour (first Petty and third Crowes show) and had a blast. One of the few good times I've had with my dad since I've been an adult.
