Yeah, if he pulls a Metallica and plays a bunch of older hits it'll be a pretty enjoyable show, but if he relys too much on Recovery on Relapse it could be a bit of a disappointment.
Actually, if he plays a bunch of older stuff, and plays it with enthusiasm (which I've heard Eminem's show sometimes lack) and creates the music well live without much reliance on backing tracks, then it could be a pretty cool show.

I honestly do not expect Dre in any form during his set so you me be right with that setlist. 90 minute headliner still makes no sense to me. I remember people complaining last year because Stevie wonder ONLY played like 2hrs and 25 minutes.

Stevie only performed for 90 minutes tops and he was scheduled for 2 hours.

Yea, his set was fantastic, but I feel like he reeeallly could have jammed them out more. It just felt like he rushed through songs in like 2 minutes sometimes.

encore: Lose Yourself Just Don't Give a quack.
Very similar to what he did at the Home and Home concert in Detroit. If he brings out D12 for Purple Pills and My Band again I'd be pissed. I swear his set in Detroit was catered to 14 y/o girls.
I'm expecting it to be almost the same but if he switched it up a ton I'd be pretty happy. I really hated the setlist he had in Detroit.

I just don't see Dre. making the trip out to TN just for a few songs. I think it is even less unlikely considering this isn't Em.'s only festival appearance this season.
Or if Dre came out and performed "The Chronic" in its entirety. I'd cry with joy.
Then Dr. Dre would be listed. Not Eminem.
Dre could never do the Chronic in its entirety. He would need so many acts with him. This is why if we ever see Dre on a Bonnaroo lineup, it will be as a DJ act. I guarantee it. I bet you can't name three songs Dre has done solo There aren't any. The only one I can think of is Keep Their Heads Ringing.
I could however see him at Em's set. Not expecting it, but wouldn't ber surprised either.
If he did come out. They would probably do a little Dre Em montage. A verse from "Guilty Conscious", "Forgot about Dre", "Crack a Bottle", "Hell Breaks Loose", ........ and then they bring out Snoop for "Bitch Please II" Haha. may haber gotten carried away there.

Is anyone else having a really tough time deciding between skipping BS and getting into the pit for Em and going to see BS and getting stuck near the back for Em?
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

I was going too but you really can't miss BS...it is a once in a lifetime show (as could be eminem) and their last. The pit may be great and all but back in the crowd is way more fun.
I've never been to Bonnaroo but that it looks like pit is distant from the stage and crowded. I get front row for shows in the city because you are like right on stage and feeling the sweat off the band. It just wouldn't be the same I'd feel like. At shows where there are lawns there is so much going on its awesome.
That's what I came to when deciding getting pit for eminem. Do I think it will be great from the pit? Yes, but not as fun.
I will be leaving BS a little early to get a decent spot for em though.
