Diplo/major lazer, mstrkrft, and wolfgang will all be on the Lunar stage
oh god, please be right
I have no sources, but i just have a feeling they will be. Im expecting one, id be really surprised if we didn't get at least 2.
After all the hype surrounding DFA's return I bet JFK is dying to play everywhere he can.
even if the lunar stage is on par with last year (LA riots, diesleboy, afrojack) id be happy, but i have a feeling they are going to go a little bigger this year.

What I think/hope they'll do is cut out the huge name electro (ie tiesto, oakenfold, deadmau5) and use the money more wisely to book some quality mid and lower tier electronic acts.
I think ya'll are crazy bashing on the electro lineup we already have. I think it's the strongest yet of any year so far. My only gripe is that it's all stuff we've already seen, I'd like some fresh blood.

That is how I feel. I think there will be some great announcements before June that will fill this void. If not, there are still some great bands there.
Duck Sauce is a very likely possibility, as is Wolfgang... Fatboy Slim would be really fun also if that were at all possible.
Unfortunately, I see Skrillex being a good possibility too since he'll just be coming from Wakarusa (ya, ya, I'll agree his prod. is ok). I'd also like to see Empire of the Sun, but I have a feeling they would have been released with the initial lineup.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
I'm excited for my first Roo, but hoping there are some more additions from Wakarusa. Do you guys think there are some agreements that have delayed some of the crossover from that fest being announced? Obviously they couldn't hold back MMJ, Mumford, STS9, and bassnectar but I'm wondering if that's why the electro is lacking a bit. Considering this (http://www.interstellarmeltdown.com/) is happening the previous weekend down the road, you'd think it would be stacked at Roo. Tickets for Waka went on sale right around the lineup drop so it would make sense. Wishful thinking maybe but I need some of this:
Not to mention some Stanton Warriors, Ozo, Toots, and Harper doing a Marley set??
A lot of big electro acts haven´t released their summer touring schedule yet, so I expect this has something to do with the delay, to see what the options are.
I hope we get at least one big name act with a great production setup. More than any other form of music I think stage setup adds to a dance show. I don´t think booking a big act and great middle acts are mutually exclusive, as middle and lower tier DJs are relatively cheap to book.
Being an EDM-fan (not entirely EDM exclusive, but I'm mainly going to be hanging around the Lunar Stage for most of the acts), I feel the line-up is quite lacking. However, I realize most of the DJ acts will be booked later so I'm not going to be negative about the line-up.
I have my fingers crossed that they bring in a strong electro act such as Boys Noize (<3), and I really hope they add Shpongle and/or Flying Lotus, that would make my year, to be honest.

I love the rest of the lineup, but they completely shit the bed on electronic music this year. Not that I should really expect anything else from Roo at this point based on previous shitting the bed on electronic music experiences, but I was hopeful after Moogfest.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
I realize it would be another repeat which is clearly not what folks are looking for, but after hearing Dieselboy's new studio album I would totally not mind him coming back to spin again. Also I was just curious, do yall think it's too late to look for a final big electronic addition ( not including, but along the lines of Portishead, Massive Attack, Thievery Corp)? I'd like to think they'll drop something like that when they release the Lunar stage lineup.
doubt majoy lazer could fit on the lunar stage, in fact no way they could if they use the same setup as last year. if I had to take an educated guess i say we get:
Skrillex Wolfgang Gartner Atrak Mark Knight Steve Angello Magnetic Man Caspa Pendulum

There's gonna be a big name act. Just has to be. You can't go from LCD Soundsystem and Deadmau5 (arguably two of the biggest names in electronic music in 2010) to Bassnectar, Girl Talk and Pretty Lights. Something's coming...

Not AS big, but all 3 of those are moderately big. Why do we need a BIG name? just give us quality
I just wish they would move the lunar stage somewhere else. It is too close to the other tents and the bass just bleeds over to ruin the sound everywhere else. Any chance they can move it elsewhere?

Pull up a map of centeroo. See if you can find another spot to put it. I bet you can't. The only other POSSIBLE spot to put it, would be at the back of the field for What Stage and just not have any acts on it during main headliners, then continue after the headliners are done.

It doesn't have to be a huge name, but the current offering is pretty damn stale (except for Ratatat). I'd be happy with maybe Boys Noize, Flying Lotus, Wolfgang Gartner, Proxy for Lunar acts and someone like David Guetta, Benassi, van Buuren, van Dyk featured in a tent one night. None of those should be that hard to book and are much more intriguing to me than the same recycled acts everyone's seen a hundred times already.
Yea, the recycled acts is my only qualm with the electronic acts so far. Dont get me wrong I love Girl Talk, Pretty Lights, and Bassnectar but come on, all of them have been there the past 2 years and they tour like crazy! Seen all 3 twice at least.

I was hoping for Van Buuren this year but it looks like he'll be in Europe on the 10th of June. Pretty unlikely. I'd kill for a Thievery Corporation DJ set. I love the full band, but their DJ sets tend to be super funky.

People want big names because big names tend to be good and people are familiar with their style. There will always be new DJs to go to for new sounds, but having someone big and relevant is always fun.

I'm guessing we will get a Lunar return hopefully in a more contained capacity. They ought make Lunar a tent rather than a stage and enclose it like they do with the comedy tent. This would allow for the googly eyed sketcho's looking to start early get a confined, darkened space and for the sound to need bleed into the state of Kentucky this year.
Probably looking at 10-20 dj adds sometime in late April/ early May with maybe 2-3 of those being somewhat big names/ recognizable to your average music fan. I'm hoping for some interesting Techno (Steve Bug, Ellen Allien, Speedy J, etc) and/ or some down tempo trippyness (Nosaj Thing, Black Moth Super Rainbow).
