I would do this, except I'm about 5 hours from NYC, and it would cost me another $88-$100 to get THERE, plus the bus to Bonnaroo. But as of right now apparently no one from this area can give me a lift, so I may have to suck it up and spend the money.
Hey all you can get in touch with me to ask me any more questions or visit this site to post them up and help others: nycbonnaroobus.idea.informer.com/
To answer your questions: 1. Wow that's really cheap! Did you organize this yourself, or does this company just do it on their own?
I'm organizing the trip as a new business venture under my corporation, Online Holdings Corporation registered in New York. It is really cheap but as you can see when early bird sells out only regular priced tickets will be sold.

A: Do it!! We are definitely the best option if you cant get a ride or dont want to drive, and the face that the price of getting you to NYC is so high just goes to show you that we are offering the best bang for your buck.
3. Where does the bus drop us off? I don't really want to walk a mile or two carrying everything I brought with me.
A: I cant be specific on this as Im trying to get the correct answer. I promise you I dont want to walk a mile or two neither and my friends tell me that I am the most "resourceful" person they know, so I assure you I will get you as close as humanly possible to camp site.
4. Very interested.......just want to know more details. This is pretty vague as of now.
A: Have to a bit of this by ear, the only thing I know as of now is that we WILL get there. Let me know what else I can answer or do to help tailor this trip for the ultimate Bonnaroo fans. Use the link above in this post to share ideas, ask questions and take votes on ideas you want to present.
These tickets are mooooving only 6 left now at early bird pricing, if you have a large group and need more than available please let me know I will adjust accordingly.
Nick, a few factors are in play in the adjustment of tickets. One as friends inform me of their plans to join us on the bus or not... I don't want to pay paypal and eventbrite fees for friends I can collect cash from. I am also adjusting the tickets based on how fast they are moving. We were down to 5 early birds and I want more people to be able to take advantage of the early bird pricing and don't want groups to worry about getting locked out. If early birds do sell out before April 10 I may or may not make more available at my discretion. I am also negotiating on the size of the buz depending on how many people join us. Right now I have a 49 seat bus with one seat dedicated to the driver. I am trying to negotiate the bus to be a 56 seat bus so we have more space to store belongings if needed and depending on how many people join us.

Any reasons why there is an early bird price? Like what's the purpose of charging more people later on? I understand that festivals do it but why the bus?
Also, there's just the one bus going down? or are there two? If there's only one bus with 7 tickets/seats left then why would there be 34 available non-early bird tix?

The reason for early bird vs non early bird is economics and motivation. You should be rewarded for purchasing early. When you purchase early this means I spend less money advertising this on Facebook. The faster the bus sells out the more people save. Just like any mode of private tansportation. Buses, airplanes, trains all give you a discount for purchasing ahead of time, right? This is how buses get filled faster. Right now we only have one bus but am hoping we can fill up two but who knows. After this bus fills up we will setup a waiting list to see how many people we can get for a second bus. There aren't 7 seats left there are 7+34 seats left on a 56 seat bus, we may end up taking a 49 seat bus which would cause me to adjust the amount of tickets available before we sell them. I will continue to adjust the amount of early bird tickets available as I see fit. Everyone who buys a ticket will have a seat and room to bring belongings and gear, the pricing of tickets is only garunteed once you have a ticket. The early bird ticket is the lowest priced ticket that will be offered so there is no point in not purchasing if you know for sure you are going to come.
Out of curiosity what are your plans for getting in close to the camping? I do not see how you could get any closer than Day Parking, and that will be quite a haul to TO.
That's another one of my issues. I don't really want to walk the distance with all my junk. I know they're trying to find out that info though.
Yeah when I thought it was a Coach company I assumed they had figured it out with Bonnaroo like the Shuttle company. When it is some dude organizing it for profit I would be a little more concerned about his logistical plans.
Hey, it might be a haul no promises about that - I'm trying to get answers and am more than willing to pay for an RV pass to be given the shuttle bus privilege. I am indeed trying to sort this out and I of course want to be brought as close as possible. I am the one organizing the bus and will be riding the bus so it's all dog food for me - I am doing this for convenience and enjoyment profit is not my primary concern or motive as I can also incur a substantial loss with this trip if the bus ticket sales don't preform well. It's pretty expensive to rent a bus for 6 days and get it to drive everyday to the campground so people can access, store and swap things from the bus.

I think a driver, and a RV pass would be pretty awesome if you can work that out. Even if you had to walk over to it once a day. At least you guys could get on the grounds with it. After that fast talking should let you figure the rest out. Is your driver going to need a wristband though?
This sounds too good to be true... I'm going from CT and this would def save me money. I'm just wondering the same things as everyone else... a definate answer on whether we could drive right in would be nice.

It seems a little disorganized, so he might not even know how many spots are really available. This isn't a shot at the guy, I understand how hard it is to organize something like this, I do it every year for 20-40 people and almost had to do it for 90 two years ago. I would go for it if I were you itrain, you really can't beat this deal even if there ends up being a few bumps in the road.
EDIT: I'm not too familiar with entering the farm from the entrances, but isn't there shuttles from Wal-Mart to the entrances? I don't see why this bus couldn't just drop you guys off there. That's where our staff buses drop us off at before we go into the grounds on Tuesday.

I figure I'd be spending that amount of money in gas anyway.........it's just a matter of how far we would have to walk and all that so I can figure out how much luggage I'd need.
definitely keep me in the loop... khackett@spfldcol.edu
the other thing I'm worried about is our arrival time... They do let people in starting Wednesday night so I've always took the stance of the earlier the better. I just want to make sure I'm all set up in time for the first act to start.

Same here..........I like to be inside Centeroo at least an hour before the music starts. I love walking around checking it all out while not many are there.
