Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's the 10th year for these folks as well, and I foresee this being a big year, with Radiohead as the main rumor. Early Bird tix are gone, and $185 GA tickets will be on sale in the coming weeks.
I'm interested in spitting a house rental with some peeps, PM me if you are seriously interested. This is my 'roo replacement, so I want to have a fucking blast!
I am pretty unaffected by the Radiohead rumor thankfully, I'm one of the few people on here not head over heels for them. I just hope for a solid line-up worth going to TX for.
Fleet Foxes, Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Trombone Shorty, along with Wilco, Ceelo, Soundgarden, Paul Simon, Tv on the Radio, and Buffalo Springfield.
I want it to be but its starting to sound too wishlisty and not real.
With the Lolla lineup released I think Muse will be the "crossover" headliner.
Muse played ACL Fest last year, and lemme tell ya: I had chills. They were amazing. That entire festival is just fantastic: so clean, so hip (but not pretentious) and dare I say...mature? I didn't see one wook the whole time!
The festival is compact enough that you aren't worn out from miles of daily trekking from one venue to another...and the food? Om nom nom! Awesome BBQ, plus...stuff like semolina-crusted artichoke petals served w/a garlic aioli dipping sauce? Yeah. Slightly more upscale than $1 Grilled Cheese!
KatyMae, if I have enough vacation time, you can count me IN for this!!!

Bet Arcade Fire headline ACL this year, especially since they're from Houston. Very interested to see this lineup. Probably can't go this year, but I REALLY want to visit Austin at some point.

and karosko, you should definitely visit austin! it is the best city in texas IMO.
i think that's the one downside to going to a city fest (not really the case for ACL for me, since i go to austin monthly). if you couldn't take a few extra days off, you wouldn't really get to enjoy the day stuff that city has to offer.

You're technically right, I misspoke. The band formed in Montreal, but Win and Will Butler are from (right outside) Houston.

I hear you. This is why Moogfest is so awesome, 'cause Asheville is one of the best places on earth and the music doesn't start until 6 PM, so you have all day to hang out in Asheville until the music that night.
2 members being born near a city, at least to me, doesn't make me feel the band is from there. There's much more important things to get nit-picky over though, so it's a matter of opinion.
Either way, them being there would be good, and that's all that matters.

^ yeah, but with your crazy schedule, you'll be on a layover in an airport four states away. It's a wonder we were able to have breakfast w/you @ Juan's last year!
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I guess ACL isn't happening this year for me. I swear if I don't make it to a fest this year i'll cry for real.
I got my E-list presale ticket today. Most likely I will be going, but would consider hitting Moog or voodoo if the line-up is better than ACL.
got tix today as well.. interested in seeing the lineup before deciding if we'll attend. Haven't hit up Voodoo since '07- and I'm always up for a trip to Nola..

Santana & Franti released tour dates today. It would make 5 shows in a row without a night off, but stranger things have happened.
