Accuweather and weather.com are both saying hot with lots of rain. No good man.
I can't wait!!!
I'm being serious though. I don't care how hot it is. How hard it rains. How dirty I get. I'm going to have the most amazing fucking time.
People place too much emphasis on comfort these days anyway. I'm probably in the minority but I actually look forward to not having air conditioning, or running water, or a nice bathroom 10 ft away, or a gigantic soft bed. It gives me perspective, enduring the minor inconveniences and discomforts makes you recognize and appreciate how truly luck you really are. We literally live better than kings ever did.
Don't let the little things bring you down. Don't stress about the weather. Just live in the moment, and keep a smile on your face.
I wouldn't say that a 30-40% chance of thunderstorms is alot of rain! It's Summer, thundershowers r the norm! It isn't looking to be as hot as last year, so I'm def ok with that! I agree, why worry so much about the weather, we can't control it, and u know u will have a great time anyway, so just make the best of it! A thundershower will feel amazing in the heat anyways!

I'm not understanding yalls interpretations of the weather forecasts.. Currently weather.com has roo with low chance of rain and high in the 80s!! Which sounds fantastic. We should be celebrating that. Accuweather has it only a few degrees higher and slightly higher chance of rain. Either way, it's going to be much cooler than last year and only a few showers. I'm happy
yeah it's looking like the temps. are lowering a bit. hopefully this is a good sign. mid 90's were gonna be rough. lets just cross our fingers it's not a monsoon
"Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been made." Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900), The Soul of Man Under Socialism
"You're either on the bus or off the bus." Ken Kesey
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." Hunter S. Thompson
Seems to me like this whole thing is a crapshoot. Weather.com, Acuweather, The Weather Network, and The Weather Channel all have different forecasts. Theres no point to doing this until the day or two before the fest. Best bet is to prepare for everything.

Model output saying that it will be hot and sunny:
still a lot of spread between models but they mostly have the same pattern (ridge in east, trough in west):
With this ridge over us for the duration of roo, it will be hot and sunny. VERY slim chances of rain. Pretty boring event to forecast, but at least there won't be any big rainy systems moving through and muddying up the place.

This is a spreadsheet that I made that shows a few different forecasts across the web with the averages at the bottom. I plan on updating it daily until Roo!

Crazy Shiit going on up here in New England. NY, NH, RI, MA all under a tornado watch with confirmation/video of a tornado touch down in downtown springfield Ma. Skies are realllly dark here in RI and the winds are starting to howl. We're jiggy with strong thunderstorms but not like this.

Friday to all who are researching the weather in here (well, in the increments I can administer them). Jesus tits it's gonna be hotter 'en the hubs of hell.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
New Englander here...I'm ok, the tornado went through the middle of my neighborhood but missed my house, there's major distruction everywhere. Our downtown (Springfield) is fucked. Never been through anything like that in my life, I give major kudos to those living in areas that have Tornado's regularly, because I was cowering in my basement crying like a baby.

Love the spreadsheet, bizco! Awesome points for you! Keep us updated.
it's been hot here, but nothing out of the ordinary...i've been doing manual labor outside all week, and while i sweated my ass off, i never felt like i was going to pass out or anything...
Well I'd argue with "nothing out of the ordinary" since we've been flirting with breaking records for heat everyday. But not unheard of might be a better description.
It worse because it's been cool lately (high around last 70 on Friday)
