Right now Weather.com has something completely different from Accuweather which has something completely different from googles outlook which has something complete different from Weather Underground which has something completely different from Weatherbug. All I can gather is there will probably be a thunderstorm or 2 or 10 sometime between now and the next month somewhere in America. Fair assumption?

Here's the local 7-day forecast which is usually pretty reliable. It includes Thursday, at least
Forecasts seem to imply that there will be a front moving through Thursday/Friday, raising the chances of rain and possibly resulting in some slight cooling. The strength or weakness of this front is still in debate as are the size of the effects (amount of rain/cooling)
yeah, i would just be looking at the local forecasts now...the weathermen here are pretty accurate, and they are only focusing on this area...i wouldn't even waste your time checking accuweather or weather.com...they sd last night the only reason they are including the 10-20% chance of rain is because of the chance of some pop-up storms
still nothing interesting. hot, humid... high pressure. could be hard to even get a 'pop up' storm going. Probably going to be a lot like last year, but with less mud on arrival.

last year it looked like it was going to rain forever - this year I hope it does just a little here and there nothing torrential please - rain dancers do your magic!
Its going to be hot no matter what. I'm already used to temps in the 90's so no big deal. I'm hoping for clouds during the day for a little shade but no rain, since that'll just increase the Humidity. Then light showers during latenight to keep the dust down and cool things off. Also its fun rolling and dancing in the rain.
It was 47 in Buffalo when I left for work. My body is in no way ready for hot weather.
Sweet!!!! I was born and raised in South Cheektowaga. I miss home. Now I live at the beach in delaware...and it's not as much fun as one would think. Boring!!
Ha! that blows. Its already 80 here and its not even 9:30 am yet.
Never understood why anyone would want to live any farther north than Virginia. (for weather reasons alone)
that doesnt blow at all - 80 before 930 is terrible!
Not if you're used to it I'll take warm weather and bright sunny blue skies any day of the week. I like being able to wear shorts, and play outside, and get a tan, or go to the pool, etc.
That whole cold thing up north doesn't work for me. Can anyone really say they enjoy perpetual grey skies and snow fall, shorter days, and temps in the 20 or below for atleast half the year?
As a Canadian, you have to find a way to appreciate the winter or there is no point living here. I know people here who dread the Winter and stay inside from November-May. IMO thats ridiculous. I teach snowboarding... plus the typical pond hockey, snowball fights... etc... The one thing I like about the winter is that it is much easier to stay warm in the cold then it is to cool down in the heat..
That being said. I love the summer and being able to be wear boardshorts and a beater and be completely comfortable. Love winter... but cannot wait for the TN heat.
I have a biased opinion because I was born and raised in Charlotte where there are so many yankee transplants because of the banks. Then I moved to Raleigh/Cary where there are also so many yankee transplants because of RTP. They all say the same thing moving north to south is a one way trip. Once you come down the weather and cost of living make it impossible for anyone to want to move back up north. Not to mention I'm only 3 hours from the beach and 3 hours from the mountains. There isn't enough money in the world to get me to live anywhere else.

I gotta agree with you there. I love Boston and Pittsburgh in the spring and summer (don't care for 100+ degree temps even though I love the South) but man, once the novelty of a New England autumn passes....get me the eff out of here. This year was so terrible, it really broke me I think. Its June and its still only going to get up to 69 degrees today, ugh!!
My dream is to have a house in Pittsburgh from May-September and then GTFO to the Carolinas, the Keys or maybe NOLA the rest of the year. Workin on it!

My dad went to Kenmore West, Matt's mom went to Kenmore East, me and him went to West, and our kids will all go to Kenmore West.

notice the "cooldown" on thursday! hope that stays true! i'll update it again once the 6:00 news comes on and it will have friday's forecast, and a more accurate thursday forecast.
I waterproofed my tent a couple days ago and it was SO windy out. My sister and I were so irritated, we almost killed each other. It took us like 40 minutes to get the damn tent up. So yeah. Hoping for no wind
