Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
No one going to enter the Pumpkin Carving Contest? I'm very disappointed Inforoo'ers! I was looking forward to seeing some creativity here. We haven't had many entries so the odds are great right now. Deadline is noon today, but I may make an exception if you can convince me....
And we have definitely heard and seen all of your thoughts on the schedule, so please don't think we're ignoring you. However, I'm leaving it up to the powers that be. They know what's best for everyone to have a "quacking" awesome good time!

if you could move the orange peel closer to the other venues, that would be perfect. thanks!
Schedule time. Lots of conflicts, but with such a great lineup, that's to be expected. Friday Austra --> Little Dragon --> bit of Chromeo --> Moby --> bit of Flying Lotus --> TV On The Radio Saturday Brian Eno Illustrated Talk --> Dan Deacon --> Crystal Castles --> Terry Riley --> Tim Hecker --> Amon Tobin --> St. Vincent --> Battles
Sunday Theremin panel --> Bob Moog archives talk --> Active Child --> M83 --> bit of Neon Indian --> Special Disco Version --> bit of Passion Pit --> Ghostland Observatory --> Gold Panda

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Even my standard two triangles and a mouth pumpkins are jacked up. No hope for the so very inartistic. I know some of you are artsy and I'll vote/spam my butt off to get ppl on board for your pumpkins!

Okay you fine folks, I extended the pumpkin deadline. Paint it, dress it up, bake it in to a Space Pie and put a Spaceman on top, I don't care. =) If you make it to the Top 5 it's easy money from there. You just get all your friends and fellow inforoo'ers to go vote for it. Now that couldn't be more simple. Seriously, at least ONE of you has to enter...
I'm seriously so happy right now. I know what I'll be doing before the shows.
Oh my, that's a pic of EDC at the top. I've never attended, but from what I've seen/heard the level of production value at that event is just through the roof (both on and off the stages). If we can even a portion of that to the fest and give it an Asheville twist, we're really in for a treat.
It's looking like they stepped up the art this year. This is a photo from Basscenter 2 in Asheville. This is Fre3fall Collective who is also helping with Moog.
I want trapezes. Period. Even if I have to put SFA in one by myself .. I need to witness this.
EDIT: Gonna link it as its huge and I don't have time to resize.
After looking at the schedule for a few days now, here are my biggest questions: The Antlers or Atlas Sound? Moby or The Field? The Drums or John Maus? Passion Pit or Ghostland? Finally, is Special Disco Version worth seeing enough to miss Neon Indian/Gold Panda? (anyone who saw it at Bisco that wants to chime in would be much appreciated)

Haven't seen SDV but I've seen Murphy solo. If you love soul go see SDV. If you want songs that you know, go see NI/GP.
Hope that helps a little.

Guys, you all should check out Brandt Brauer Frick. Their latest album is something awesome! They are not the normal band you are used to listen too. But they are great in a special way.
I said it to LLL on Facebook last night: Ghostland is pretty much a must see to me. I caught the end of their Freefest set and ... holy quack that's amazing. The lasers might be one of the biggest light shows you see the entire weekend/year.
For much of the weekend however, you guys might have to help me decide where to go. I'll just follow along.
After looking at the schedule for a few days now, here are my biggest questions: The Antlers or Atlas Sound?
I've seen Atlas Sound before but never The Antlers. Atlas Sound is a party. I'll be at Antlers
I've seen Atlas Sound before too, but I really enjoyed it and kind of want to see him again. I've never seen The Antlers, but there only a few songs I really enjoy by them. I'll probably just choose in the moment.
No Brainer for me. The Field. While both are elusive .. I want a good spot for FlyLo.
I want to see The Field really badly, but don't know if I could miss Moby for them. Once again, probably choose in the moment.
Maus. You may never get another chance to see him. Drums tour all the time.
Completely agree with you on this. Maus it is.
GO. Indoors and the lasers are amazing.
Agreed on this too. Checked out some videos of GO and I think I need to see that.
Haven't seen SDV but I've seen Murphy solo. If you love soul go see SDV. If you want songs that you know, go see NI/GP.
I think I am going to start at SDV and see how I enjoy it. If I'm not feeling it, I'll probably go to NI/GP.

Chris and I went back and forth with ideas and we are going to attempt this on Saturday. Ordered my costume last night too, I am all over these contests. I'm so jacked up for this festival, I geek squeel just thinking about it!
