Probably a good thing that they do spread it out so there aren't a bunch of people trying to check in while others are trying to get to Matthew Dear. Would probably become one huge cluster fuck. Either way though, I'll probably be all checked in at 11:00 as well.

Honestly curious if you remember how they had it set up last year? Having people check in and then immediately want to exit the arena would cause much more of a clusterfuck than people moving through the process and then continuing on into the arena (which is how it was last year, and worked fine). Not that Matthew Dear is going to pull in a big crowd anyways. And the masses are going to be showing up later in the evening, when things will be happening in the arena. So really, I don't think that matters at all.
I can just see uniformed fest goers walking all the way to animoog ticket in hand only to be told "sorry, you need to go make a 20 minute round trip walk". But hey, was just a random thought, anywho.
yup, adding this one to the schedule from what i saw on youtube.
I just noticed what garageland wrote about there only being one entrance for thomas wolfe and the civic center. was it like that last year? did it cause problems?

It was like that last year, and it never was really an issue. Kind of a pain to have to walk all the way around the building and then go up a floor or two to get to the venue, but honestly I'm not sure how else they could do it that wouldn't cause major headaches elsewhere.

It was a bit of a line, but not that bad. The security were really mean though. Like really really mean. We had nothing on us but they searched through EVERYHING. They opened up my girlfriend's purse and literally went through everything, including opening her box of tampons to make sure nothing was in it and pulling out to inspect every cigarette in her pack. That made lines take a while, but not the longest I've ever waited to get in a show.

Ahh no big deal, I'm selling off everything in the house on craig's list today Maynard doesn't know it but he has a "job" tonight on the corner of Magnolia.
The male prostitutes don't work on Magnolia, silly.
Lol yup. I would guess they're hanging around XYZ, which I guess isn't that far.

Just for checking in or for each venue?
That was the ACC/TWA. Come to think about it, I do remember this. They didn't know anything either. I was told by numerous volunteers/staff that there was not a smoking section and that I had to go outside and re enter through the check in entrance to get back in. I got so frustrated the first night I ended up at the OP with a patio and a much much nicer staff.
There is one, FTR. On the second floor of the building. I found it day 2.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
