It's rude, but I am increasingly comfortable with what that clusterfuck means for Suicide's crowd size. I'm currently planning on catching the first 25-30 minutes of Amon then heading over to the Orange Peel. If getting in and out of venues is relatively quick and easy, I might even pop into TWA for a St. Vincent song or two.
Honestly, this conflict would be worse if ISAM wasn't my least favorite Amon album.
Random thought, but I still think Amon vs. St. Vincent vs. Suicide is just rude. Oh well.
I was kinda surprised they switched Amons set time. The 1st schedule worked better for me but I had no desire to see the Lips.
I feel almost ill saying this, but I might leave Tobin early for Vincent. 1st schedule was def better for Saturday. 2nd is better for the other two though.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
What days are people wearing costumes? I'm bringing 2 and was wondering when most people will be breaking theirs out?
Honestly all 3 days are musts. If you had to pick 2 I'd say Saturday & Sunday. Saturday is party day and I'm betting Sunday will be the unofficial Halloween.
I wanted to say that I'm seriously shocked that we are a week away and this hasn't sold out .. Even more so that people are trying to sell tickets.

Crazy talk.
I was shooting for Saturday and Sunday so I will stick with that I think.
No sell out and others trying to sell will hopefully equal a little extra elbow room and quicker entries at venues.

I think one issue they have as far as ticket sales go is that there's not a bunch of the artists that have been getting much airplay on the radio or such. Moby has in the past but not in a few years. TVOTR and FLips have a good following but aren't "big" bands in a commercial sense. I've just been thinking about that since Abra encountered all the people at the ticket giveaway who had no idea who anybody on the bill were. That being said, whereas there is not a lot of commercial power on the line-up, there is a lot of quality acts who should be more popular.

Well said. It's a sweet line-up but when I have spoken to some friends and colleagues they were totally in the dark about the festival itself and the majority of the acts listed in the line-up.
True. I'll agree with that to an extent. But last year is a perfect example of that. There we're a few "big names". Big Boi, Cee Lo and Devo (even thought they both canceled in the end). It was the massive amount of DJs that were booked. This year .. in my opinion ... has better DJs and still on the low side.
I mean .. this is all hypothetical as I'm going by tier sales and truth is they may have sold a fuckton of day tickets and we will never know till the festival.
