Recently, I loved the organic brick oven pizza next to Broo'ers tent. Really missed them last year!
Is this not the same as the brick oven pizza place in between Which and the Comedy Tent? Can't say for sure whether they were organic or not, but they made some amazing pizza.
wait, $1/ea, $3for 2? is there something wrong here or is this pure genius
The line gets long enough that they increase the price if you want more than one. A lot of people just get one and eat it while they wait in line to order the second.
Where is the grilled cheese truck/booth located? Thanks.
I have to say that the Fish Taco truck is my favourite food vendor. He (Dave) is located outside of Centeroo where 3rd Ave meets Bushy Branch Road. I first came across this food stand when we were camped out in Pod 11 in 2011. His Tacos are incredible and cheap! He sells 3 tacos for $5!!! He also has a cooler full of canned beer that he sells to patrons for....1 can for 2$, 2 for $3 or 3 for $5. Cant beat a cold beer on a long walk to Centeroo! It has a shaded area to sit and enjoy your food/people watch as well.
are they still right near what stage? this might be my go to place
I remember them being closer to that tent last year, but my mind may be failing me.
Is this the same one with the giant setup near the Which Stage last year? The one I'm thinking of has Black Lemonade.
Regardless if we're talking about the same thing, the Cajun place with the brightly colored signs and the Black Lemonade is good. I probably won't have it this year because they're one of the few decent places that comes to Forecastle. Thus I will be eating it three days straight in July.
I think the grilled cheese guy comes to Forecastle too.

I think it must be. I can't imagine a wood oven in the middle of the stalls. And yes, their stuff is amazing.
Samosas from SamosaMan and fried snickers. The first thing I did after we were settled in last year was find myself a delicious fried candy bar to start off my amazingly unhealthy wknd!

This is your first Roo, right?
This won't make as much sense now, but it will once you're there. There is a main stretch of vendors right outside of the arch entrance to Centeroo. I doubt they'll be in the same exact place as last year, but they should be along this stretch. If I'm not mistaken they had a large wooden looking sign (I don't think it was actually wooden) That says Garlic Grilled Cheese. They have a few specialty grilled cheese sandwiches as well, but they also have $2 plain ol' grilled cheeses as well. And they are quacking delicious.
Worst case scenario, you're in our groop, so we can go find it one day, I'll definitely want one.

If you come out the arch entrance they are usually located along a line of vendors toward the right of said entrance/exit. They should be on the left side of the road upon exitin' the arch. Look fer a decent line if a big show just let out.
Samosa Man is awesome, but my favorite samosas came from the little Indian place by the What stage, behind the guest bleachers. They come with a big spoonful of one of their sauces, if you ask for it. Perfect with a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
There are good eggrolls to be had in that section, too.

The pretzels next to the Amish donuts. Don't settle for the crappy ones that are sold in the field at the What stage. Only go for the fresh made pretzels.

The "Morning Bender" breakfast sandwich is by far my favorite. I've tried to re-create it at home, but it doesn't come close to the actual sandwich. It's at the egg sandwich food truck.

Cracked! So good. I actually had one yesterday before seeing those darlings at a fest in Urbana.

Yes!! Now that I know they're there I'm bringing along a notepad so I can attempt to jot down everything I can possibly surmise about their construction. I may just straight up ask the workers. It's that good.
