I'm about to see my karma take a hit, but I find spicy pie to be just mediocre. Yeah, I'm spoiled. I grew up in the city (NYC for those not up with the lingo) and our worst pizza places still outdo the best in other parts of the US. In terms of Roo food, spicy pie is pretty good, but to me, it's an ok take on pizza by some outsiders.
the pizza in manhatten has actually gotten laughably bad. the emergence of the dollar slice places has turned it into a joke. luckily i live in queens, so i've got a few amazing spots in throwing distance
Two Boots makes up for any bad, though. And you can't deny that.
And the REAL Patsy's up on E119th or wherever it is.
It's always the arepas. It has already been discussed, but the one year (09?) I couldn't find them, I had a near meltdown.
The jalapeno veggie corndogs, from the stand at the back of the What, are a close second.
I to have had problems finding the Arepas. Someone needs to get with Ashley Capps about this! He might not friend me on Facebook. But by god he will take my Areapa$$

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
The brick oven pizza right outside the Brooers tent is my favorite. I have at least one Thursday and one before I leave. Other than that the BBQ vendor (think they are out of Murfreesboro) at the back of the What Stage field is pretty good too. Decent prices as well.

I'm just to damn cheap to spend a ton of money on food in Centeroo. You already spend a fortune on beer in there. I travel with a friend of mine and we bring enough food for breakfast and lunch. We usually don't leave the campsite until after noon anyways. Centeroo food is usually just a nice treat/snack.

I do eat most of my food at camp as I'm on a budget. I usually treat myself to 4-7 meals in Centeroo over the weekend dependin' on my funds each year. Gotta get that gator at least twice though!

Grilled cheese is probably the best bang for your buck - grab a few of those on the way back to camp at night. Awesome. Veggie corndogs were divine, as was the spicy pie

My favorite last year was the barbecue place (some church, I think) by What. Also the peppermint tea at several different places was wonderful. You can never go wrong with the grilled cheese either.
I gotta throw this out there did anyone else go to the tent where they were giving out free snacks from the church? They had a bunch of fruit granola bars and lots of water I mean it wasn't GradeA quality or anything, but I just thought it was really awesome for them to do that.
Plus they weren't preaching to us and say we were all going to hell like others. That was my breakfast cause i didn't have a lot of cash and most of our food went bad quick.
