I had a great time, but i think this year should of been better. I know im not the only one who thinks that. I think the past years have been better. Bonnaroo seems to be going down hill over the past few years. Its certainly possible to expect too much, but this is bonnaroo, not woodstock, so ill forgive.

This was my 7th, and I had one of the best times ever. Sorry you suck at Bonnaroo.
i hate when people that did have a great time talk down to the people that didn't. i mean you have to acknowledge that things are rough out there, some things suck and horrible things are going to happen to some people. why would you talk to these people like their experience doesn't matter? there are people that say it's the best every year. there are people that say it's the worst. and both are true. it's all up to your experience. but you should at least be able to understand those that had an opposite experience from you.

Because this guy is a troll, I am pretty understanding of people not having a good time. Read his last 10 and get back to me Sang.

sang, if he said he had a terrible time, then your argument would be valid. however he started out by saying he had a great time.
he seems to be making the same argument on here that people make every year. 'the vibe is gone' etc. this year it honestly seemed to be better then the past couple. the people i ran into seemed a lot more friendly this year. i had several conversations with people through out the weekend, several people offering drinks/etc to other people.
08 is still my favorite year of the 4 that i have been to, but this year was a close second for me.

Dont even get me started on dr. teeth, he is the reason i stopped posting here for a while. If youre not careful he will accuse you of being someone that has been banned, no matter how obvious it is that he is wrong.
No he didnt, i had a great time. Better than the last 2, i just feel that the tenth year shoulda been better. It should have. It was better on a mainstream level, but thats about it
Those are line-up issues, ones which you accepted when you purchased tix.
I know they are line up issues, thats exactly why theyre issues. I still think they shouldnt have been there, there could of been way better artists in their spot. Superjam should of been bigger and better, it was still cool tho. Widespread shouldnt have closed. This year fails in comparison with 08 and the years before that. But this year was better than '10 and 09, so maybe the festival is on a rise. Can we please just lighten up with the lamestream acts, bonnaroo?

Lil Wayne had a enormous Which Stage crowd. So it would seem the people have spoken. Same for Eminem, who filled up the field for What.
I'm a firm believer that if you're going to complain, offer an improvement. I've been to three Roo's, starting in '09. Each one has it's negatives, but it's still the best festival (IMO) in the entire country. It has a wide array of music and gives people the opportunity to dip into genre's that they wouldn't ever pay to see outside of a situation like Roo.
Superjam was a let down in the fact that Auerbach played essentially nothing but rhythm guitar and there was no actual "jam"ming.
I'm not even a Widespread fan, I loved their show for what it's worth, but they don't deserve to close? They had a great show and from where I was the crowd was loving it. I had more fun at their show than DMB last year and I'm a big fan of his.

Its still the best festival, no doubt. But its been better in the past. And of course little wayne and eminem were packed, they have a lot to due with why it sold out. that doesnt mean they were good, everyone i talked to said they sucked, and i completely agree. They could have been a little more in touch with the roots of bonnaroo and gotten some way better artists instead of lil wayne and eminem. They got eminem and lil wayne because they wanted to sell a lot of tickets, thats the only reasoning for it that i can think of.
I don't think they ever worry about selling out. Eminem is in the midst of a comeback and hasn't performed other than the Home-And-Home since rehab. Wayne is the biggest draw in hip-hop aside from Kanye. They're also two of the most talented rappers, but Wayne's sound sucked for 1/2 the show and I thought Eminem was good. He wasn't great (he was better at the Yankee Stadium concert I saw), but he wasn't bad by any means.
By roots do you mean jam bands? They had a jam band headliner that you apparently aren't happy with and had SCI play an amazing set late night.
i never said i didnt like widespread, i just dont think they should close. and my main points are, eminem and lil wayne sucked in my opinion and i never wanna see them on the farm again. throw them in the same boat with kanye
So you saw two shows you didn't like. So did everyone. I thought Superjam was boring. Doesn't mean I want Dan Auerbach banned from the farm.
Lil Wayne's sound was (like Buffalo Springfield's) terrible for a good portion of his show. You altered between barely hearing him and having your eardrums blown out. Once they solved the sound issues (later on in the show) it was fine.
You still haven't suggested anything they could have done to make it better or say expanded on your "roots" comment.

I personally think that anyone who doesn't have a great time has nobody to blame but them selves so its pointless to bitch about it. Dont like the crowd at some show? Find a new one, there's thousands of people having fun. Disappointing show? move on, there's 4 others going on.
one thing is for sure, dr. teeth is a huge d-bag. Thanks for ruining inforoo for me dr teeth
Dr. Teeth (and a few others) made my Bonnaroo possible this year and contributed greatly to the amazing time that I had. I know of a few others who would say very similar things. He's no "d-bag" .

Cool story. Trollololol.
EDIT: And yeah, Dr. Teeth is a cool dude and it's a shame you weren't with Camp Inforoo having an awesome time.
