^ Yes. There is a state park nearby where you can camp, if you want to go that route.
I camped in the park with my kids, honestly unless you can get a hotel right at the festival it is the way to go imo. It really was not too hot I had shade, you can drink, they had wifi, and a huge swimming pool that you could bring your coolers up to. Just get a reservation early they go fast, but it is pretty cheap like 70 bucks for the weekend.
So I drove over to Daphne for record store day on friday, and I heard about Hangout doing a Black Friday sale! I immediately hauled ass over there. My girl and I scored 50$ 3-day passes......f'n right, life is good!

I saw a first leg of like 8 dates nothing really in the south. I am going to save up to do the festival next year though.
Are those dates the same source that is giving you the hangout rumor? The reason I ask, is that those dates have more or less been debunked for weeks now.

Pulled the trigger on a condo and a pair of early bird passes through Meyer. It was much harder finding a walkable condo in my price range this year. I should end up spending roughly the same amount as last year if I can put a big enough group together, though.

Did you look on VRBO? I had no problem finding lots of condos pretty close by for a decent price.

Yeah, I found some cheaper places on VRBO, but it was worth it to go through Meyer and get passes at the early bird rate. Ended up at a place 0.7mi from the festival, which I'm pretty happy about.

I got the info from a PR email. They haven't actually announced that more tour dates are coming yet, and it's possible Atlanta will be the only date announced on Wednesday.

Oh ok, so you only got information regarding the Atlanta date? Thats good to know though, I am DYING for M83 to come back to the US after their European dates in March. If they announce The Ryman I am going to lose all my marbles, then pick them up, and lose them again on purpose.
I haven't been, I'm from Nashville originally but don't get up there all that often these days. I was just guessing based on size (it has a 1500 capacity). I've heard it's better than Cannery, but it isn't very difficult to be better than Cannery.

It is better than Cannery. And yes, that would not take much. It holds I would say 1,300-1500. Very nice venue. Parking is a bitch, but when is it not downtown?

They're playing the Buckhead Theatre (2500 capacity), and tickets go on sale Friday. It's $24 GA, reserved balcony will run you $34. They sold out the 1000 capacity stage at the Masquerade last time, but it took a week or two if I'm not mistaken.
